I Have A Date but A Worst One

Date: February 14, 2022

Today is the day that most lovers await to come, especially the girlfriend who is excited to receive bundles of chocolate and bouquet flower but of course I am not genelizaring. I'm scrolling through facebook as most teenage women like my niece have this shared post about receiving chocolate this day, nagpaparinig yarn? hahaha. Anyways, before anything else I would like to say "Happy Valentine's Day read.cash Citizen". My day starts very well, same as Mama. I've noticed she is so hyper today that she even teased my niece and called her using another name that she knew. Align with that, my two nieces tentatively create their DIY flower bouquet that is intended for their Mama (my sister) and Mama (grandmother). They just randomly pick flowers in Mama's garden and neighbor flower plants and assemble them at the seashore with the help of their creativity.

Mama was still overwhelm with her new phone that she always asked my what the next thing to do and aside with her baby games, she unconsciously asked me to download a tik tok app that made me shocked co'z at the back of my head "I imagine Mama dance a tik tok dance" which makes me laugh. Before my imagination went beyond Mama explained her reason, "she just wants to see more videos' '. So, I grant her want and support her that I even gave her a load that is intended for week usage. While scrolling and having fun, Mama was shocked as my niece handed her the DIY flower bouquet. Even with that simple gesture and not so fancy they appreciate the effort of my nieces. It was the same day and same date where I experienced my worst date during Valentine's Day. Until today I vividly remember every single detail on how exhausted and disaster I was after I finished the four hours date, I could say I don't want it to happen anymore.

Every Valentine's Day I always make sure to fill up and have a beautiful day even if I don't have a partner to celebrate with. On that day, I woke up early to prepare myself and to look fresh and never be late. Everything I needed was in my bag already and I even arrived earlier. As time passed, my heart beat so fast and I could feel butterflies in my stomach not because of excitement but because of nervousness that any moment I could faint but still I endured until the set time arrived. 

People surround me looks happier as they walk at the exit door while I was walking at the entrance I felt like I was walking at the aisle since everyone eyes look at me which makes me more nervous like what they feel. Minutes after I entered and set the door open and my worst date arrived. I've seen strictness and authority that one wrong look at any side, I will be called a cheater or worse, get a failing grade. If you're thinking I was dating a person, you're totally wrong because I actually date, numbers for four hours facing and focusing on every problem that needs solutions. Our professor never mind what day it was because she is willing to extend the time for us to solve and analyze each question set. Instead of flowers and chocolates, he brought me a scientific calculator.

This day is not only for the lover alone, but also for all the people whom we love such as family and friends that forget to recognize the real essence of Valentines. For all the singles out there, bumili tayo para sa sarili or manghingi nalang tayo ng chocolate hahaha.
