-no I can’t wear that outside people would look at me funny besides.. blue does not look good on my skin.

Dane-* feeling frustrated* can you just trust me for once. Gabriella is probably at the restaurant waiting for you right now. It isn’t right to keep a lady waiting you know..

-pause

***Gabriella is a new date Dane found for Dave on Tinder with the specification Dave gave her of the kind of woman he wants to be with** so she sets up this fun date for Dave to go meet her but they are finding really hard to find what is suitable for him to wear to a place like that.

Dave- what is the point of all these anyways she might even not like me** you know how picky you ladies of these generation can be?

Dane- this generation?*looks at him in a very defensive way*

Dave- oh come on you know what I mean besides I am part of *with his fingers in the air* this generation so stop giving me that look.

Dane-whatever!! Okay try this on I think this should fit perfectly. ***she hands him a nice shirt and a pair of long pants to try out

—he comes out looking sharp *** okay this is not so bad after all. Wow you just might be going somewhere with this arrangement we have.

—He reaches for his shoes and some cologne, spray some and walks out of his apartment headed for a date.

-please leave the key with the doorman when you leave and don’t touch any of my stuff.

Dane-you know for someone who I just found a date and helped dress up you seem pretty ungrateful** she scuffs * anyways I have heard you I would leave as soon as my phone is charged up.

***Now I probably didn’t tell you this at the beginning of this episode but it’s been 5 weeks and 2 days since Dave and Dane made that deal and ever since Dave had gone on 4 dates. — well 4 and half if we are being honest. That one Irish woman left half into dinner because she thought Dave was too boring for her******* note this is the first time he has agreed to wear something that Dane has picked to a date.

5:00 pm *Dave hears a knock on the door****

—and who might that be ?

Dane- it’s me.

he opens the door and goes**** not to be rude but what are doing here at this time of the day.

Dane—listen I need a favour.. the place I got temporarily got flooded.. I think it was a leaked pipe or something Long story short I need a place to crash tonight.

Dave- you could have gotten an hotel or something..

**she gives him a look that says “ really dude is that what you have to say” and walks into the apartment regardless.

Dave- okay I didn’t mean it that way but you know I enjoy my privacy…

Dane-whatever.. why are you even at home.. you were suppose to be at some fancy hotel with your date Gabriella.

—Dave looking tired and frustrated goes .. I told you this is lost cause. No woman would find me attractive and I am okay with that..I am okay with the fact that women don’t appreciate a nice, calm and gentle..

Dane—oh my God .. did you start sharing your ideas on what you think Society should be like and your philosophy about the origin of human and all that nerdy stuff on a date.

***Dave looking at his feet in an ashamed manner he says— well it’s not my fault that people would not listen to logical reas..

Dane—just stop .. stop okay .. is there wine in the fridge I need a drink. I was planning to order pizza want some ?

Dave—no thank you I am making dinner already.

Dane— oh really ? I didn’t know you cooked. What are you making…

**they both walked off in the same direction to the kitchen to see what Dave was making… a few minutes later after dinner...

Dane-thanks for diner you are really a good cook.. I didn’t know you cook so well.

Dave—well they are many things you don’t know about me.

Dane—like what ? — because I am trying to imagine why you still can’t find a good woman even though you seem like the perfect man. you know what let’s try something.. let’s do a practice date tomorrow *****

Dave— a what now ?

Dane- a practice date, you take me out and talk to me about the things you normally talk to these dates about and then I can give you notes on what and what not to say to ladies on your next date..

Dave laughs out loud ***and goes —like you would know what these sophisticated ladies I go on dates with would prefer.

Dane- oh he laughs .. this is the first time I am hearing you laugh. You have a beautiful smile Dave Parell. Anyone ever told you ?.. anyways goodnight I am taking your bedroom, and I suppose you are taking the couch..

Dave—like I have a choice.

***she walks off headed for his bedroom* while he sits on his couch in the living room preparing his “bed” for the night.* so she think I have a pretty smile hmmm really ?**** he smiles like a Child that is about to leave for Disney land in a few minutes and then goes to bed.
