I was having a conversation with my brother some minutes back. We were just talking about how our parents raised and why we seem different from kids from where we where we use to live back in the day.
The truth is parents would raise kids in the way they possibly can but at the end of the day the decision to become whatsoever is left with the child. You see my parents raised us to be respectful and kind to others, one might even say maybe too respectful and kind. Truth is I don’t regret being raised that way but sometimes I dislike that I am like that. Because people would prey on anyone that kind of character.
I just think sometimes the things we pride ourselves in might be our greatest problem. I read and was commenting on @HappyBoy ‘s latest article titled achilles’ heel this Morning and after dropping that comment I got an idea for this article. The Achilles’ hell, You know what that means right ? Well if you don’t please look it up. But anyways I was saying in that comment that Ronaldo’s Achilles’ heel is the fact that he is too stubborn and passionate about football. He loves to prove to everyone every time that he can conquer whatever he puts his mind to. And in as much as that is one of his strongest attribute it is also one of his weakness now that he is no longer the same 18 years old boy from Madeira.
For some people it is how they look. Very attractive people get free things or preferential treatment from others but also people use them for their looks sometimes and if they aren’t being used for their looks they are looked down upon because of the stereotypical thinking of some people who believe that attractive people are most just“beauty” but no “brains”.
For some it is the kind of company they keep. I know a guy who had a friend who was in a gang. His friend would always fight for him if anyone owed him money or if anyone was disrespecting him or his loved ones. But one day there was a gang war and because the other gang members thought this guy belong to the same gang as his friend they were at was with.They killed him not knowing he was innocent. What seem like a blessing became his downfall.
The most common one is wealth or riches. The richest men on the planet earth can not walk down the road and just buy a cheese cake or just walk into a random road side kiosk to buy a belt or something as simple as a phone pack He really just can’t because before you know it people would surround him in a matter of minutes. He also has to double check anybody that is being friendly around him because he has so much to protect hence making friends might be really hard for him because he always has to be at alert.
Popular people can make a million dollar in their room by just posting a video or something. They can also help spread word or easily reach out to large number of person in a very short time via social media following and all but can they are they allowed to do many things that regular people do all the time like troll a random person or just insult a big commercial brands or governmental bodies on social media. They can’t do these things because if push comes to shove they are an easy target also it can hurt their career and even put them in harms way if they did some of these things.
In conclusion, life can be like that sometimes. It is like a two edge sword. You can defeat more enemies with it from side to side but it can also easily cut you if you aren’t careful.

This life ehn, one needs to be more careful. I really feel for the guy that was killed. I don't want anyone protecting me because it might turn to something else later.
