@Julsijuls more from that month

[ a prose by julsijuls ] every night, I leave my windows open so that I can watch the sky. So that the last thing I'll see is the night with stars, but without a moon. I hope the night will distract me from the pain in my bones and the longing in my chest. My ribcage doesn't cage anything, aside from a hollow heart. But it feels so heavy— heavier by night. Perhaps, my heart isn't as hollow as I thought it would be. Perhaps, it now contains accumulated tears instead of life. Perhaps, it contains the secrets and memories we had, things that even I don't know still exist. But I have an idea it's there. Because I feel heavy. My chest feels heavy, my palms hurt, and only the moonless night helps get through the last hours of every day. Emptiness comforting emptiness. Photo https://pin.it/7e58AM2
