@Julsijuls more from that month

Time took what it could take Prose by Julsijuls I didn't know what it was, or who it was, but this figure hovering above me holds a pickaxe above his head. The weapon crashed down straight to my ribs, fracturing bones and breaking open my heart. I am not of any worth, not even a golden penny, but this thief need not money nor gold nor jewels. It needed the only treasure left in me. A hand—so this figure is definitely a person—was shoved inside my chest. It squeezed my flesh and heart, gathering all the bits of memories I have of you. This person with the face of a clock took everything. It tainted the perfect picture of our forgotten love. He took it out, torn it to pieces, and burnt it with his breath. And this man, he stood back up, sprinkled water on me and hoped that gears would form in my eyes, and help me let go of all my pain. There's no more to hold onto after he's left me dry of thoughts of you. Photo https://pin.it/7Lv60IS
