[ a poem by Julsijuls ] the dry lands are far but it wouldn't matter even if my soles grow sore nor my toes be wounded I'd still walk and drag my feet until I reach patches of grass sit on a lot with mushrooms and sleep beneath a shady tree. the journey, it was difficult instead of pebbles and stones, broken shards of glass instead of smooth surface bones and teeth and chests; bruises formed on my knees weakening my flesh I could barely walk and so I crawl I drag myself— these hardships aren't enough I'll reach the dry lands the peace and warmth away from you oh sadist love. —that was not a river, it was just water covering all the things you broke for fun.
