I downloaded an ebook called the courage to be disliked, and I read something that kinda hit me. It says there that feeling of inferiority is different from inferiority complex. This is because feeling of inferiority is a good thing because it would push us to getting out of this state that we aren't satisfied. Which means, the bad feeling is actually our trigger to move forward. Example: I am fat, therefore I should exercise more in order to be fit. While inferiority complex is a state of thinking, an abnormal state of mind in which we are using this state we currently have as an excuse. The inferiority complex refers to a condition of having begun to use one’s feeling of inferiority as a kind of excuse. So one thinks to oneself, I’m not well educated, so I can’t succeed, or I’m not good-looking, so I can’t get married I think recently I have the second one, the inferiority complex, which I believe isn't a good thing. I should work myself out of this state in which I don't like and not just accept it because of what I currently am.
