Yey! TGIS, Thank God It’s Saturday!
Every week, I have been looking forward to Saturday. It is the only time that I can get out of the house without worrying about my work. Having working from home for a year now is boring me every day that is why Saturday is always a day to look forward to.
It came to mind to search for another variety of adenium last Tuesday so I planned on a road trip for today to locate the supplier of my adenium.
My friends here who are also in noise.cash would know that I collect flowering plants and one of them is adenium or famously known as desert rose.
A year ago, I bought several varieties of adenium. Some make it thru till today and gave me beautiful flowers but there were two that didn’t make it. One of them is Indigo Glaze and it is deep violet in color and I want to scout for that again. The other one is Aurora, a very deep yellow adenium.
So today, I am on the road again in search of the supplier. It is noted that I bought mine last year thru the marketplace, an online selling page in Facebook. The person to whom I chatted and sold me the plants has left the chat room so I cannot contact her anymore.
I back read our conversation as I remember her sharing a screenshot of the delivery cost and it shows where the pick-up point is. And that is where we went this morning.
Unfortunately, to my dismay, we can’t get inside the place as it was a subdivision and if there are no reservations, guests are not allowed to enter. So I just asked the guard if there are owners inside selling plants and was again dismayed to learn that there were none.
My scout for the Indigo Glaze and Aurora has failed.
My daughters were with me during this failed trip. We have to endure an hour of traffic and we were already hungry by the time we left the subdivision.
So to cheer them up, I brought them to a fishing floating restaurant just a few meters away to have lunch.
The food was delicious and it made my girls happy and satisfied.
But I am still looking forward to get that Indigo Glaze and Aurora. Below are pictures of both flowers so that you will know why I am so intent of having them.
I really would love to have several varieties of flowers in my garden. It just made my day watching them and taking pictures of them.
Since I have lots of flowers now, I already noticed several butterflies flittering around, there were two yellow butterflies and a white one too.
Here are the collection of adenium I have in my garden.
no name 😁 as I planted this from seed. There were several seeds that I planted but only two has lived. The other one has not shown its bloom yet.
Pink Sapphire

Midnight Phantom
no name - looks similar to #1 but the shape of the petals are quite different
The most common adenium found locally.
Viva Las Vegas - still looking forward to its bloom. It has some buds now and this is how it will look like when bloomed.
Royal Empress - never fails to impress me. It just keeps on blooming, one after another.
They are such sweet food for the eyes. Don’t you agree?
Hope I was able to provide a feast for your eyes.
Thanks for dropping by.
