Despite Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech starting for Chelsea, the Blues failed to defeat Brighton

Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw with Brighton in a friendly match today. Chelsea new signings Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech started for the Blues. Timo Werner scored in the 4th minute of the game. A late penalty from Gross in the 91st minute ensure the game ended in a 1-1 draw. The referee ended the game as both sides shared spoils in a 2-2 draw
