You won't reach It in a single day

When we see someone who is incredibly talented in our social media, whether It is playing an instrument incredibly well or achieving physical feats that are seemingly impossible, we get a burst of jealousy and motivation at the same time, in which we tell to ourselves that we can do just as good or better, all to forget It after and not even trying to start because of the fear of failure. Well, as dated as It might sound, there's a phrase that coins perfectly the state of mastery that those people have over their particular field, and that is "Practice Makes Perfection", meaning this that they didn't turn out like that in a matter of days, weeks or even years. They dedicated considerable periods of time over the course of their lives and make sacrifices with respect to the potential that others activities could have unfolded for them. That's why in this article I will talk a little bit further about this phrase, all through a series of points as to why repetition is the key to perfection. Let's begin:

Your mind and body adapt

Being It working out, reading or practicing any particular skills, when you begin you start as blank slate, without any noticeable trace of knowledge, muscular memory or set of abilities to withstand the most advanced echelons of these disciplines. The only way to do impressive things at whatever you practice is to keep doing that in a way that It challenges you each time. In this way, your physique and your brain will begin to create new pathways to make space for the new skillset you acquired, either in the form of a more fit and resilient constitution through muscle mass or a more conscious approach to your work.

You learn about the good, the bad and the ugly

As you'll know, everything has Its good parts and Its not so good sections, and It is usually the ones that initially are perceived as boring or unbearable that will bring you the most results and will be better for you. By knowing what things are harder for you, you can begin to mold your training in a way that suits your weaknesses, helping you overcome them and even better, turn them into strengths.

You use your time for things that are meaningful

A great part of us can spend literally hours in social media and end up more drained, disgusted and bored than when we started. That's because our focus is constantly changing from one thing to another through scrolling our feeds, and at the same time our psyche is punishing us with a sense of anxiety for procrastinating towards what we should be doing (specially the more conscious type of people). If you decide to practice any skill and put the required time to master It, your brain will actually begin to reward you through the release of dopamine because of legitimate accomplishment, thus giving you a deeper sense of satisfaction and happiness for the time well spent.

I hope that this article could have been of use to you, portraying a little set of Items as to why practicing something consistently without regards of how others might be doing is the best option if you want to live a fulfilling life, giving you not only a sense of purpose, though also a healthy source of fun and meaning. Thank you for your support and good luck!

The things that we usually do can soon to become a normal ways in our life, so, constant practice makes us better in time.

Just like writing, it's hard for the first time, but soon it will not be that kind of tough, once we already doing it constantly.
