Proverbs and thought. (Vice and virtue) "Heroism is in the patience of a moment." Syrian proverb In modern terms, heroes are individuals who sacrifice for the welfare of others. In ancient times, most heroes were demi-gods. Perhaps with Odysseus, properly human heroes began. Now, the Syrian perspective gives me something to think about. Patience is a virtue that few practices. More in these times, when immediacy reigns. Well, also in difficult times knowing how to act at the appropriate time can be the difference between life and death. So, no wonder patience is one of the virtues of hero candidates. Patience and circumstances undoubtedly determine the heroism that someone can embody. #proverbs #thinking #wisdom #heroism Good night from South America. See you tomorrow, God willing.
