Good morning everyone from South America. "Whoever controls his desires will be so much freer." French proverb. An excellent saying to meditate on Sunday, just to start the week. How much do you want to achieve in life? Perhaps it is the measure of your own bondage. The most famous ancients recommended to their contemporaries self-knowledge, a path to personal liberation. The central idea is liberation, so where do desires come from? Certainly not from the stomach, nor from inclement weather. Desires come from the outward abundance that people crave, and that doesn't necessarily equate to what you need. Hence, whoever discovers what he really needs and fully enjoys his satisfaction, in the end, will also have control of his desires, and not vice versa. To be free, you only need to discern between what is a need and a desire. Have a great day wherever you are. "Sunrise Mount Cook" by Bernard Spragg is marked with CC0 1.0
