"Friendship is almost always the union of one part of one mind with the part of another; people are friends in points." George Santayana Strange definition from a philosopher. I also did not know this character of Spanish origin but whose work is part of American literature. Undoubtedly, friendship is a phenomenon not as extensive as we think. How many friends do you really have? Perhaps Jorge Agustín Nicolás Ruiz de Santayana y Borrás, poet, essayist, and novelist, is quite right. And we only establish a bond of friendship at certain points where people's minds meet. Then, I wonder where our minds really lie. Image by John Hain on Pixabay
