Indian proverb This Indian proverb is similar to saying, better a bird in the hand, than a hundred flying. And is the value of something in itself relative when it comes to eating? What good is a market full of food, if you can't buy them? Wow, that crumb of bread you have at home is worth more to you than the one in the bakery. So, this saying can be applied to other areas of life. Someone might object that the saying alludes to conformism, and perhaps they would be somewhat right.
