What is the problem Bitcoin Cash is trying to solve?

For the umpteenth time, I think about the purpose of Bitcoin Cash.

Perhaps, I should stop thinking about this too much and only go with the flow and hope it will carry me to the safety of the shore of the highly turbulent river we are in.

Of course, one must first stay afloat, avoiding any dangerous debris.

The problem is that when one looks into the gorge where the river meets, one knows that it is not enough to just let go. One must swim hastily to the shore or against the current, lest one drown or perish in the fall.

Well, that's how I feel when I think about cryptocurrencies amid the great mainstream financial river.

Yes, I think many of you know as I do: that Bitcoin was created as an alternative to digital money from banking institutions.

And if you did some digging into the history of Bitcoin, you will surely be able to deduce what is really at stake right now.

Sorry if I sound repetitive, but I often find myself on the digital highway with people overcome by adrenaline and the rush of rushing into the new frontier, who seem unable to appreciate the great danger that looms before them. Worst of all, though, and most worrying are the sluggish and the (extremely) optimistic, who recklessly disdain the deadly threat.

Reading the preceding paragraph, someone will say, you are exaggerating, deadly! It is only about cryptos.

Perhaps, he is right, and I am just a paranoid who sees conspiracies behind the fascinating emerging and promising world of cryptocurrencies.

Honestly. How I would love to be wrong so I could swim peacefully in a calm river with temperate water on a sunny day!

So I ask you, what is the purpose of Bitcoin Cash?

Why all the drama and hurdles in the way of Bitcoin Cash adoption?

It's not for nothing that Bitcoin Cash (BCH) forked from fake Bitcoin (BTC).

Don't be surprised if we soon see a well-articulated campaign by the global status quo to bury the progress of projects that pursue financial freedom for the people.

For example, amid the Russia-Ukraine war, the Russian banking association asked the government to ban non-custodian wallets. The goal behind the request: Knowing cryptographic holdings as a way to interfere with the freedom of transactions.

Yes, Bitcoin, now BCH, from the baton of its community, tries to solve the problem that financial institutions represent for the free exercise of the freedom of transactions.

Regaining the ability to buy and sell without the intervention of trusted third parties and without the threat of double-spending is the fundamental problem.

Of course, you will hear that the emerging global spectrum state superstructure, aided by technological advances, will solve the current problems that generate poverty.

Siren songs of Malthusian and technocratic minds in pursuit of a totalitarian tinged utopia.

Don't be surprised if you wake up in a horrible dystopia.

Someone enlightened might rightly say to me: "Don't worry, my friend, man has always lived in a big lie, believing that he exercised free will. So, take it easy and go on living as you have been.

No, that's enough! I refuse to go on living like this.

Bitcoin Cash is one of the means available for one to achieve emancipation, and they know it.

It is up to each one to choose. Whether to try to solve the problem in the area of your influence. Or let the current take you to a tragic end.
