Read Before You Buy! 😅 Hello, hello! I want to blog in Filipino, which most of the time is the language that I used. I feel more expressive when I write my blogs in my mother tongue. Do not worry, though, because I translate it for foreign readers! Ang init sa labas grabe! Ewan ko ba bakit parang malaking oven ang Philippines. 🤣 Kakagaling ko lang sa labas kasi. Sabi ko, uwi na ako kasi sobrang init baka maheat stroke pa ang lola niyo. **It's hot outside! I don't know why the Philippines is like a big oven. 🤣 I just got back from being outside. I said, I'm going home because it's so hot that your grandmother might get a heat stroke.** Anyway, gusto ko lang magupdate dito pa minsan minsan. Gusto ko na rin kasi bumalik dito at maging active ulit. May ilan ilan din akong mga friends dito na active parin kasi nakikita ko sa notification ko, haha. Ayun, lang. Wala naman masyadong ganap bukod sa ang init ng panahon, haha! **Anyway, I just want to update here once in a while. I also want to come back here and be active again. I also have a few friends here who are still active because I can see it in my notification, haha.** **That's it, that's it. There isn't much else to say besides the hot weather, haha!** -- Wait, may ishashare pala ako. Nung nakaraang araw, bumili ako ng Korean oatmeal. Di nga ako sure kung oatmeal ba to. E ako naman dahil sa sobrang impulsive ko, sige, kuha lang ng kuha. Sa sobrang impulsive, hindi ko man lang tinignan yung packaging kung may English translation ba. Nalaman ko na lang yun nung kakainin ko na haha! Binili ko pala to sa isang Korean store na may samgyupsalan na rin. **Wait, I have something to share. The other day, I bought Korean oatmeal. I'm not even sure if it's oatmeal. As for me, because I'm so impulsive, go ahead, just take a shot. Being so impulsive, I didn't even look at the packaging to see if there was an English translation. I only found out when I was about to eat it haha! I bought it from a Korean store that also has samgyupsal.** Eto nga yun. Quaker Instant Herbal Cereal with Lotus and Almond. Nung pagbukas ko, ang bango!! Gumamit pa ako ng Google Translate for the instruction. Ayon, ang simple lang pala. Just pour hot water, and mix. **That's it. Quaker Instant Herbal Cereal with Lotus and Almond. When I opened it, the smell!! I even used Google Translate for the instruction. According to him, it's simple. Just pour hot water, and mix.** Parang nung una, hindi ko bet yung amoy kasi amoy air freshener sa sasakyan, promise! O, dahil sobrang bango ba? Tinikman ko, okay naman siya. Milky and nutty yung lasa. May real bits pa ng almond kaya okay na rin. Hay nako, kung alam ko lang na ganito at di ako impulsive hindi ko sana ito bibilhin e HAHA! Ayun lang, tapos na. **At first, I didn't like the smell because it smelled like air freshener in the car, promise! Or, because it smells so good? I tasted it, it was okay. The taste is milky and nutty. There are real bits of almond so it's okay. Hey, if I only knew it was like this and I wasn't impulsive, I wouldn't have bought it HAHA!** **Thanks for reading!** That is it for this blog. I Never Left | A Back Story It has been a while since I made a full article here in read.cash. Truthfully, I got demotivated because of Rusty's tipping was gone. Yes, of course, I write here to earn some BCH to hold some and to pay for petty bills. But I never left... In effect of that, some of my friends here are also not writing anymore. I kind of miss that. Usually, in the morning or night, I check this platform to catch up with virtual friends. I drop some tips and comments here and there too. I do not blame them for leaving the platform. Some peeps are writing here as their job already, like using the earnings to survive every day. I did not say goodbye nor write an article leaving the platform. I feel like I will always come back here no matter what because this is the first blogging gig that I actually can earn, aside from noise.cash, which is microblogging. Let me tell you a little back story. I was actually looking for a side hustle online because I do not like paying a shipping fee for my online shopping 🤣. Inside of scrolling on Twitter, Instagram, etc., why not use my time to actually earn and meet new friends? And so, I looked online and just googled it away. To cut the long story short, I discovered noise.cash, and then eventually read.cash. Dang, I remembered that I was tagged as a spam account twice! Maybe because I was still not getting the hang of it, and making some mistakes. Well, never give up! Actually, this is my third account already. I was so happy back then when my blog was tipped by a cute robot! From there, I try to blog once a day. I was having fun and became my routine to a blog. Met new friends along the way. In terms of blogging, currently I am active in Hive. Some of my friends here (almost) are also on that platform. I am glad that I encountered familiar faces from read.cash like @remona and @coolmidwestguy. Most of my blogs are about digital arts and photography (lately). I am planning to come back to noise.app too! Ahh~ gotta revive this one. *Welcome back, Rusty!* That is it for this blog. Happy Chinese New Year! Hello, everyone! Happy Chinese New Year! CNY is observed and celebrated across Asia, including the Philippines which where I am from. Though I do not have Chinese blood, our culture and tradition have bits of Chinese influence. It is evident in our food, beliefs, etc. After all, the Philippines was once a trading ground for both parties. These red lanterns are said to bring prosperity and long life. It is better at night to see them glow. 2) Eating Tikoy Tikoy is like sticky rice. I can compare this to mochi in Japan. Also, it can be in any flavor like ube (purple yam), pandan, etc. I just go for the regular one. Tikoy can be steamed or fried. I like the fried one coated with egg. It is better when it is thinly sliced. I think this is not only applied to Chinese belief but as well to Filipinos. I am not sure if it originated with them, though. Be noisy as you can be in the belief of warding off evil spirits. We usually use torotot (trumpet) because it is safer than fireworks. Also, we bang out pots and utensils in front of our house. Actually, it is only mom who is doing this haha. Self-Care Questions | How Am I Feeling Today? Hello! Happy weekend, y'all! It is already half of January. I think it is safe to safe that I am very much back now in reality. 🤣 Holiday is over! (Well, in my case, mentality). So, after the holiday, have you asked yourself how did your get-together go? I do hope that you enjoyed the holiday. In this blog, I just want to check out myself through these self-care questions. 1) How do I feel at this moment? I feel very energetic right now. Just done working out. I feel more energized and hyper after a good workout. Perhaps because of the flow of blood, and all, haha! I do not really know the Science behind it, but working out is so relaxing. It clears your headspace. I suggest that if you feel down, a little sketching can relax your mind and body. Also, I had one hour of nap. 😍 2) What do I crave in life? I do not really have a "craving" in life for now, more like an aspiration. I am not going to lie that I want to be rich as F! But the truth is, I just want to be happy and healthy. If having a lot of money is being happy, then I want to be rich! I do not believe that money cannot buy happiness (Well, most part of it). When I can buy what I want and provide for my family, that is when I am the happiest. See, money is not really the root of evil. The root of evil is the love of money. 3) What makes me happiest? I am happy when I am stuffed haha! 🤣 Who does not like good food? Kidding aside, I am the happiest when I do not have to think of a single thing to worry about for the day. We always have constant worries in a day. It could be a deadline, a meeting, a financial matter, etc. There is always to worry about. So, I guess I am happy when I am asleep HAHA! That is the only time I have to myself after a day full of faces. It is kind of tiring little by little throughout the day. 4) What are the positives in my life? If positive means something that makes me happy, I can say it is my friends online. Of course, I have my family and IRL friends. But lately, they are my source of joy especially when we are playing Mafia or Among Us. I can forget the real world for a minute. 5) What am I thankful for? The quick answer is I am thankful for what I have now. I am thankful that I have a home, warm clothes, food, and just the basic needs in life. Some people do not have these things, and so I should not take them for granted. I admit that I do not see the bad side of everything but I know for sure that somewhere in the corner of the world, there are people dying because of hunger. So, I am thankful every day. Among Us With Discord Buddies! Hello, everyone! We have been playing a group game on the HivePH Discord server for a while now. This game is called Among us. This game was on the pick when the pandemic hit, of that, I can remember. There are two groups of team, the crewmates, and the impostors. The goal of the crewmate is to complete the task in order to win the game. On the other hand, the impostors must kill every crewmate or sabotage the equipment until the timer runs out. The game is very easy to learn and navigate. Some of my friends are not familiar with the game and so, we have to guide them in playing. Based on their gameplay, they easily get the mechanics. This game is good for groups, and just passing time. Hehe. Here is the screenshot of me being the lone impostor. We are 6 players in the game so I was so proud to show this off to them every time we are going to play HAHA! There are different maps, but we usually play on The Airship map. This is what we chose because most of us are already familiarized with it. The other three maps are Polus, Miraq, and the Skeld. @J.M and I as impostors! :D Another screenshot with a friend.
