Why do smart people have fewer friends??

Smart people focus on long term goals and consider socializing as a distraction at times They are happy with the number of real friends that they have and dont want anymore They dont have time for forced fake catch-ups or pointless conversations They dont get involved in drama They are old soul so they have visions for the future They are selective about their choice of friends They are independent in own speech, thought and action which may be contrary to his/her friends.
