10 Promises of God Day 8/10 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 The world boasts, "I am the master of my fate, the captain of my soul!" And the world also teaches us to live for self and put God and others second, if they come into consideration at all. But the wisdom of God found in Scripture teaches the opposite. We need to trust God's Word more than our own thinking and to accept all of the Bible's doctrines even when we don't fully understand them. Teach me, O Lord, to lean on your Word and not on my own understanding. Help me to trust you with all of my heart and to acknowledge your truths and your commands at each juncture of my path of life.Amen KJV Bible
