A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24 Jesus Christ is the friend in our lives who sticks closer than a brother. Human beings can let you down; it’s in their nature and it is who they are. But we can be glad and grateful because God has given us Himself and His Son, in whom we can always trust in and rely on. Dear God, I just want to thank you that I can find a true friend in you. Thank you for your love that enables me to call you my friend and my Father. It is something I do not take for granted, Lord.
