If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5 Only God can teach us wisdom. We may go through many life experiences, but that does not mean that we gain wisdom from them. Only God can turn our experience into wisdom. When we experience a set-back in our lives, we must ask God what it is we are supposed to learn from it. We must inquire how this experience can help us grow and how we can use negative-or positive- experiences to help others. Wisdom is not something we are born with. We must obtain it and we can only do that through God. Holy God, I ask You to teach me wisdom. Through the circumstances of my life, help me to see my path and understand how I can best learn from my experiences. Help me to gain wisdom so that I might better serve You. Amen. KJV Bible
