No quick solutions

So fast, we're approaching another weekend. I hope you week has been going fine?

Conversation between 3 year old Ken and his mom who just gave birth to another boy. Ken: Hey Mom Mom: I hope no problem, my boy Ken Ken: Mom, I need to have someone to play with Mom: You have one already. Ken: Who's that? Mom: Your little brother here Ken: He can't play the ways I want him to. Mom: Yes, that's true. Because he's not as big and matured as you are. Ken: When will he be big? Mom: When he is of your age, he'll be as big as you are Ken: Can't he grow fast and be as big as I am now Mom: No he can't, he'll have to come to your age before he can be as big as you are and that is in 3 year's time

Life sometimes or most times brings challenges that causes discomfort on our way. No one likes the hard times, so we try as much as we can to avoid anything that looks like challenge or stumbling blocks. Here are my amazing sponsors. I also do love it that way, but with my little experience in this life has made me realize that challenges come up everyday, they are not there to discourage us, but to spur us up to devise creative ways to solve them. The more challenges you face, the more tenacious and experienced you'll become and you'll be able to help those(the next generation) who are coming after you by sharing your stories and teaching them how to overcome situations and circumstances similar to the ones you had earlier faced. But when those challenges come, especially some tough ones, we tend to access a quick fix to give us solutions to those problems. Sometimes, we even pray to God for solutions or the challenges we face, in hope for a quick fix that'll quickly solve the problem at hand. But God doesn't work with our human and limited timeline, and He sometimes doesn't answer us when we want Him to, reasons known to Him alone.

Life is like a path of process, things don't just work like a switch,that is on and off. Whatever you do in this life is always subject to something called process, things doesn't just happen immediately. Everything takes time, practice, patience and consistency/repetition. Most times because of the media that only presents the success stories of people without also displaying the process they underwent and the time and patience that was required to produce that level of success. The media just presents the beautiful part of the stories leaving people in the dark and conditioning the mind of people to think that everything came easy for the successful ones. The plain truth is that it takes time to actualize success in a particular area. You need to gain mastery which is a product of time, practice, patience, consistency and repetition of the same sequence of activities.

Just as a woman needs 9 months for the child in her womb to mature, same applies to every other thing.

Another example is when you plant a seed, you don't expect to reap the fruits the next day, you need to allow allow the seed to go through the process it should go through before even coming out as a tree. Even a child born today cannot suddenly become an adult the next day, he has to undergo the process every human goes through, no matter the number of hours of praying or wishing can suddenly make the child an adult the next day.

We are not in control of how and when God answers our prayers, He has our best interest at heart. The suffering or hardship we're going through that has persisted does not mean that He has forgotten or left you. Sometimes He just wants those situations or build us up and help our faith in Him. It also helps us to build our trust in Him so that when greater problems show up in the future, we can always look back and remember the times He had come through for us and look up to Him for His intervention.
