The Fastest Doesn't Always Win The Race

Back in old times, wen I was younger because I'm still very young. My friends in the neighborhood, I mean children within my age group, were always involved in children games like running, cycling etc.

I was not to join them because my parents were the conservative ones, they were trying to protect their child from wrong friends, lol, it worked a little bit. But that law only applies when they're at home, when they leave, I also go out to play as everyone would have done. I remember the day I was almost caught πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚, but that's not for today. As I was saying, I was talking of the different games that we engage in then. There's always this child that's always the winner when it comes to a particular game. So everyone always wants him on their team. There was this boy that was particularly very fast when it comes to running, he's always the first, other children always forget about being the first and just they take the second position. Time over time, he remained the reigning champion on my street then. Then a day came, we were about to run our race again, but this time he came third. Surprising? Yeah. We were all surprised and at the same excited that finally someone else won. What happened actually? None of us knew what happened exactly. But recently I read something in the Bible, it reads "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift ...... but time and chance happeneth to them all.". The emphasy is on the race is not to the swift that means that the fastest will not always win. Everyone involved in one thing or the other desires to be successful, but not everyone becomes successful, have you ever asked why this occurs. Talent doesn't guarantee success but is needed for success. There are so many talented people who are not successful in their area of expertise. When others see this peoole they tend to get discouraged sometimes. A person can be extremely talented in a particular area but not successful. Talent only cannot assure the person of success because of the duo called time and chance. Opportunity comes but once, they say. But opportunities is like the which goes like the wind. So there are some people that always get opportunities while some don't. A person can be talented in a particular field and not get an opportunity to exhibit his/her expertise. Meanwhile, someone else who is not as talented as he is, gets the opportunity and becomes successful making that person a global figure. Even when opportunities come, there are times when the needed resources to execute the goal are not available. This particular factor has halted so many people's journey to success or stardom. This can lead to frustration and depression at times. Meanwhile, resources are abundant in the hands of those who don't need it.

I want you to realise that God is very much needed to succeed. There are many factors that can halt your progress to success. Always acknowledge God and watch Him make everything beautiful. ✌️✌️
