Good morning guys, how are you doing? I trust that you're having a great day. Welcome to a new week. Let's quickly go through yesterday's article.

One of the popular statements we've heard from time to time is that contentment is a great gain.

No matter how much or how little we have contentment is not all about what we have. Contentment should not come out from how much we are able to have or not have. We should be contented regardless of whatever we have.

Contentment again is great gain. Whenever we lose the ability to be content with whatever we have, we become covetous and this can lead us to do many unimaginable things we would not believe that we would have done.

But there should be a balance. I am not saying that we should be stagnant and be okay with being where we are because we're contented. We should strive to ensure that our lives improve. And even in this we must be content still.

The fact that we must also be content with our present condition is what makes it difficult to content and not stagnant at the same time. Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control, our lives will not improve in the way we want to. And this can make it uneasy for us to accept whatever is at the moment and be content.

But something you should never forget is that everything happens the way it is supposed to happen. A good life is relative. Everyone's gold life is defined by the situation they find themselves.

To live a good life, we should constantly remind ourselves of this fact.

Contentment is great gain. Being content means to be happy with whatever you have without being jealous or covetous of another man's own. We need to be content with whatever we have. Whenever we lose the ability to be content, we become covetous and this can lead us to do many unimaginable things.

The problem with being discontent is that it limits our capacity for living well, it makes you feel like what you have is not enough and that you're not good enough. We cannot be happy if we are constantly envying what others have or if we're comparing ourselves to others.

Let's move to today's article.

There are times when things go wrong in our lives. We experience great hardships and pain that we hope, will come to an end. Again, it's how you face those hardships and test that matters a lot. It all starts by asking yourself what purpose does it serve? What lessons is it teaching me? Instead of waiting for the pain to subside by itself, why not find a way of using the pain to your advantage.

You will be surprised how many lessons you can learn from your pain and hardship. And that alone would make the entire process worthwhile.

If you have ever been through a test in your life, you will agree with me when I say exams are hard and it takes a lot of effort to pass them. It doesn't matter whether the exam is in primary school or in university, the essence is always the same. You want to pass the exam.

Learning from your hardship and pain

That pain or hardship you might be going through might be a test. If it is a test that means you are expected to either pass or fail it. That's life.

I've heard people say that we shouldn't waste our pains. There are lessons to be learnt despite the pain. Therefore, as much as you hope for the pain or hardship to do, learn as many lessons that is available for you to learn through that hardship. So make sure you do not fail the test, so you'll come out a better person.

Thanks for reading through. Have a great day.
