Taylor Swift: Life & Career + Love Story (Piano & Song Cover)
To the Swifties out there, this is made especially for you. I'm a fan of Taylor Swift since she established her career in the singing industry. I have known her when I was in high school and her songs are music to my ears. I liked her songs more before than her genre today. I just thought that she's more fit into Country music. However, a musician's mood changes so she slowly shifts into Pop. Her albums come with a lot of stories behind them. That made me a fan of Taylor Swift because her songs are meaningful and symbolic. **Taylor Alison Swift** is born on December 13, 1989. She an American singer-songwriter. She is known for her narrative songwriting, in which she often takes inspiration from her perspectives in life. Some songs made a fuss to the public because it is believed that mostly, she writes songs for her exes.
: **Artistry** **Her Influences in Music** Just like Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain played a big role in Swift's influence on music. Personally, Swift had her earliest musical influence through listening to her grandmother Marjorie Finlay who sings in church. When she was younger, she used to enjoy listening to Disney film soundtracks. Also, she got that confidence from her mom by preparing her for class presentations. Growing up, she was drawn to the storytelling aspect of country music. From then on, she got her inspiration by listening to great country music female artists like Shania Twain, Faith Hill, and the Dixie Chicks.
Swift was heavily influenced by Shania Twain by her songwriting skills. Hill, for her role model, and the Dixie Chicks for their talent of playing their own instruments. In fact, the band's "Cowboy Take Me Away" was the first song Swift has learned to play the guitar. Various pop and rock artists like Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Bryan Adams, and Shakira were among those artists who inspired Swift also to enter the music industry. **Musical Style And Voice** Swift's music consists of general elements of country-pop, alternative rock, pop, indie, and folk. Her production of music also incorporates R&B, EDM, and hip hop. Swift play musical instruments like guitar, piano, ukelele, and banjo. She was known for her Country music genre until the release of her album 1989 which she characterized as a cohesive pop album.
Swift has a mezzo-soprano vocal range. As described by various media personalities, her voice was regarded as "sweet but soft", and a "defining" vocal gesture. She has learned how to make words sound like what they mean. Exception gift for inflection but also suffers a wobbly pitch and tight nasal delivery. A writer from The Tennessean described in 2010 that Swift was "not the best technical singer" but the "best communicator that we've got". She added that she puts a lot of work into improving it. It was reported that Swift continues to attend vocal coaching. **Songwriting** Swift described herself primarily as a songwriter during an interview with The New Yorker. " I write songs, and my voice is just a way to get those lyrics across."
In her early songs, it was evident how the storytelling of the song flows throughout the piece. She employs a "diaristic" approach by identifying an emotion before proceeding with the melody. She added that songwriting was her way to "get through love and loss and sadness and loneliness and growing up". Her themes were mostly about love and romance. In fact, her debut album (self-titled - Taylor Swift) depicts an infatuation and a perspective of a high school teenage girl. I believed it is her song "Teardrops of my Guitar". She has launched her album at the age of 14. She continued writing songs and became successful throughout her career. On her "Fearless" album, it narrates a fairy tale imagery between fantasy and reality. In "Speak Now", Swift entails negative emotions from a lost romance. Then, she indulges herself in investing her emotions into the tumult of toxic relationships on "Red".
However, in her album "1989", she has finally embraced nostalgia and positivity after her failed relationships. Then, "Reputation" was released to defend herself from the media scrutiny following her. "Lover" narrates her realization of the "full spectrum of love". Although she's known for her romance-related songs, other themes were addressed in her music including parent-child relationships, alienation, friendships, and self-awareness.
The media has been releasing speculations about the subjects linked behind Swift's songs with her ex-lovers. They even claimed that Taylor Swift is making money through her exes which Swift considered as a "sexist" description. Male artists are also writing songs for their past lovers but they were not questioned and they are even appreciated. Her latest albums Folklore and Evermore in 2020, were inspired by romanticism and escapism to explore fictional narratives. Without an explicit explanation, she describes her emotions into imaginary characters and story arcs which freed her from the mental stress caused by the media. **Music** Videos Swift has collaborated with many directors to produce her music videos. Over time, she has become more involved with writing and directing. She builds her own production house Taylor Swift Productions, Inc. In 2010, Swift co-directed the music video for "Mine" with Roman White. "Mean", "Ours" were among those songs which Swift created and developed the concepts and the storylines. From 2014 to 2018, Swift collaborated with Joseph Khan on eight music videos, both in albums 1989 and Reputation. She also received a producing credit in her music video for "Bad Blood". So here's my piano and song cover of Taylor Swift's classic song Love Story. Thank you @Charlotte for suggesting this to me. https://youtu.be/TGnNVnsM9ho I'm back! I finally got the motivation to upload and write an article at the same time. Thank you for watching! Keep safe everyone ❤

>Taylor Swift is making money through her exes which Swift considered as a "sexist" description. Mas maganda pa yung career nila nung tungkol sa exes niya kanta especially noong 2013-2017. Pero ngayon, masaya na siya at may speculation na may anak na raw siya. Buti rin talaga binigay niya yung kanta niya na "This Is What You Came For" kay Calvin (her ex) tapos kinanta ni Rihanna. Ang ganda po ng piano cover niyo
That's true. It didn't work out with her DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris Pero successful ang song na kinanta ni Rihanna. Salamat po ❤
Welcome po. Nakikinig kasi ako ngayon sa kanta niya

Hi there. I found another Swiftie here. Hehe. Thanks for the gift ❤
I see "Taylor Swift" I automatically like something. :) I loved her the very first time I heard her sing, Teardrops on my Guitar did it for me. And I'm pretty much all about TSwift until now. :D Followed every album and every song she did. I've witnessed how she transform the music industry and how she has been transformed by the world, her music and all. Fearless (Platinum Edition) greatest album hands down. And All Too Well, the best song in history. LOL

Oh I wish I know! Haha there's a lot more to know. :) Like a possible wedding date. But anyway, up to this day, I still haven't seen her in person. That's just too bad. BTW, you played and sang it good! Thank you for that.
