5 situations that every introvert can relate
Being an introvert comes with many struggles. But introverts often internalize their own problems mainly because you don't want to be misunderstood more than you already are. Here are 5 examples that only introverts understand 1. ***Alone time*** When you really need to be alone for a while, but you are afraid to tell your friends to leave them because you don't wanna hurt their feelings. Even if you phrase it in a friendly manner, how do you know they won't feel offended? It's always a hit or miss situation. Especially if you have highly extroverted friends who really want to hang out always. Although they can be understanding and supportive, they may feel bored or low-key rejected. You enjoy their company always but you can't help the fact that your batteries drain faster than theirs. As a result, you are torn between taking care of yourself or keeping your friends happy. 2. ***Small talk*** When someone you don't know tries to engage small talk so you always answer straight to the point. It's one of the most avoided situations you could encounter when you're outside. Giving a simple yes-or-no answers makes you feel worse so you need to make an abrupt excuse to let the conversation fade until the person gets the hint. 3. ***Party obligations*** When you're invited by a friend and you're there contemplating inside your room what excuse you will give because you have given too many excuses like flu, being busy, family death, or plans beforehand. So you feel like you're obligated to attend because you don't want to lose your credibility to them. You try to relax and have fun but after a while, things start to get overwhelming. Then, you try to come up with excuses to leave early. I mean, I think it's enough to attend and just present yourself for a while? 4. ***Presentations*** Introverts are known to be good motivational speakers and move people with their words but facing a large crowd can be highly intimidating and overwhelming. We prefer to do things behind the scenes and don't want to be put in the spotlight. 5. ***Misinterpreted barriers*** People you just met may think you are self-absorbed and aloof because you don't talk or share your thoughts right away. You're not trying to be mysterious or play hard-to-get on purpose. It's just not your cup of tea to be transparent easily. It's a slow gradual process. These are just some of the problems we encounter that are most relatable to every introvert out there. Comment below if I miss something relevant. By the way, we consider ourselves as "***textroverts***" because we could be the most talkative person in town when we text. We speak our minds confidently and we crack some jokes that we don't normally do talking in person because we barely speak a word.

I can relate but those aren't exactly limited to only introverts
Sorry about the exclusive titles π
I was just saying because ambiverts and supposedly extroverts can relate to those too. It's just a matter of public exposure

Yup. Selective response π€£ only when you feel it's needed
Sometimes I am introvert and sometimes I am extrovert π Sometimes I am really confused with myself π that's why I conclude maybe I have this dual personality lol.
There is actually a personality somewhere in the middle and that is called "ambivert". You're one of them π
