@Jane1289 more from that month

What would you feel if you found out that your father's prostate is already cancerous? Today is his schedule for biopsy (my sister thought it was an operation), which is actually useless since his doctor already told him that it's already cancerous. I thought he will undergo an operation so I called them yesterday right away after receiving my sister's message. But it's just actually a biopsy.. While talking to my father yesterday, I pitied him. We aren't that close but I owe him a lot as much as I owe my mother. And it's disheartening knowing that he's suffering from a chronic condition and I couldn't do anything. One line that made me sad yesterday was when he said that if it's really fatal, then he'll just make a countdown to the end of his life. He'll just accept it. No child would ever want to hear that from a parent. His medication is a pain in the ass and cost more than Php20k a month which is hard to maintain.. And what made me feel guilty yesterday was when I received the message, I was done buying things for myself, and that others were not even necessary. If my sister only sent the message earlier, I should have just added the amount to the allowance I sent them..😥 I feel like I'm very unlucky this year, despite these opportunities I'm getting here online. Health matters more than these. I never thought that his condition is already chronic. I thought he was already better. My family likes hiding the real situation at home. Probably so I won't be stressed thinking about it.
