These crying children are lost in the park and I wonder where the irresponsible guardians are. If you are going out with your children, please be sure to keep your eyes on them. They are young and if unfamiliar with the place, they will really be lost. I suddenly remembered when we lost our little sister on the beach. It was the day of Sto. Niño festival and many gathered on the beach to witness the water parade and also to celebrate the festival. Everyone was busy and the kids were bathing in the water near our cottage. We just let them play there but told them not to go to the other sides of the beach. In the afternoon, we noticed that our little sister was gone and we were all scared. Some went to the water by boat to look for her. There were thousands of people on the beach that day and we were all worried thinking of possible things that might have happened to her, either she drowned in the water or someone had abducted her. But we did not lose hope and continued the search. After a few hours of searching, my brother arrived and we were happy to see my little sister with him, safe and alive. But my sister was trembling and crying. I was also moved to tears to see the fear on her face. She was trembling not only with fear but with the cold because of her wet body and she's only wearing thin clothing. My brother found her on the neighboring beach and my sister said she was lost in the crowd. She got trauma at a young age and feared going to crowded places. She was only 8 yrs old that day and she's already 15 now, independent and strong. This should serve as a lesson to everyone not to take their eyes off the young companions when going to a crowded place. As adults, we should be responsible for them and ensure their safety.
