How are your weekend noizers? I'm seeing these trees again all over the flower market because Chinese New Year is fast approaching. Chinese like buying these kinds of plants during CNY as they are lucky for them. Each of them has symbolism in Chinese beliefs. The nipple fruit says to symbolize five generations for stronger family bonds and good health. Meanwhile, the kumquat tree is called "gut" in Cantonese that sounds like luck. This tree symbolizes luck and prosperity for the Chinese. So both or either of them is always present at home.  We already have kumquat tree at home and we'll buy more plants 🙂 I love seeing more plants at home. ©Jane1289
