Big news from the US OCC yesterday in their advancement of banking rules to encourage adoption of digital assets. Guidance yesterday, link below, allows the OCC to leverage off of the work innovative states like Wyoming (Avanti and Kraken banks) have done in the digital asset space. This guidance was required before some of the recent crypto bank applicants (BitPay, Paxos, Protego, and Anchorage) can be granted their preliminary approval. I'd expect to hear to hear from the OCC in the next few days, no later than next week, on which of these applicants will receive approval. https://www.occ.treas.gov/topics/charters-and-licensing/interpretations-and-actions/2021/int1176.pdf
