Rice dishes across the world (Part 6)
Paella Today's rice dish is originally from SpainπͺπΈ.
Ingredients: β 1 large chopped onion β 2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil β 3 chopped cloves of garlic β 200g bag of frozen sea good mixed especially with lobstersπ¦(π) β 2 cups of rice β Some chopped tomatoes, and green beans β 1 tablespoon of hot smoked paprika β 1 tablespoon of thyme β 1 cup of chicken stock β 10ml of lemon juiceπ β handful of roughly chopped flat-leaf parsley Make sure all ingredients properly washed and cleanβ¨
Steps in preparing dish: Β° Pour 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil into frying pan and put on heat. Β° Add chopped onions and allow to caramelize for 5minutes. Β° Now add your hot smoked paprika, thyme and rice. Stir for a minute or two. Β° Then, add chopped tomatoes, garlic, and green beans and chicken stock.
Β° Occasionally stirring food for about 15-18minutes, add seasonings. Β° Add mixed seafood, cover lead, cover food with lid and allow to simmer of heat till everything is well cooked.
Β° Sprinkle lemon juice on food and also scatter your handful of finely chopped flat-leaf parsley on food. Now food is ready to be served. This really goes well with garlic bread toasts for me. πππ

It looks great except I do not eat lobster and some more "fruit of the sea". I doubt I can buy that frozen mix here. Let's see if I can make it without fish and chicken instead. I am sue they do not care in Spain. For sure they make it in a different way anyway. I wonder where the rice is and beans I never saw in paella. π€
Yeah, I'm sure they don't really mind even though it's a sea food dish.... Actually things have really changed a adding a little style to cooking is what makes it more fun, delicious and interesting
