School bullying, also known as bullying, has unfortunately made a huge hole in schools and institutes. Places where the youngest flirt with the fact of mistreating that insecure classmate, the one who has acne on his face, the one who is not the handsome one in the class. A type of mistreatment that is not always physical. In spite of being widespread, it is not always so evident, in many occasions it can go unnoticed, and that is why it can be so dangerous. There are several reasons why bullying occurs. Most of them are linked to the terrible insecurity, low self-esteem or traumatic experiences that the bully has lived during his childhood and that, perhaps, he is still living. In this way, he seeks the appreciation of others through disturbing behaviors.

In fact, he prefers to be the center of attention for something negative rather than go unnoticed. It should also be said that, on many occasions, the bully is a simple imitator of what he sees in his own home. This also leads to very different forms of bullying. As in the case of physical bullying, this is the most visible type of bullying, since the bully uses his physical force to frighten his victim. With kicks, slaps and other types of physical aggression, the aggressor tries to humiliate and subdue the person to whom his blows are directed. This type of harassment goes hardly unnoticed because it usually leaves physical signs. It is important to mention that this type of bullying usually occurs in the company of other people, other friends who praise and incite to hit even more the person in front of them.

In that sense, the bully feels powerful, the leader, the strongest. It is rare that it occurs on a "one-on-one" basis. The bully usually needs the company of others to support him/her. Another very recurrent case is verbal bullying, it is much more recurrent, since it is a verbal abuse that many would qualify as "kid stuff". The worst thing is that it is not kid stuff, since the person to whom the taunts, insults and denigrating words are directed, ends up suffering and feeling their self-esteem undermined. This type of bullying does not remain only in the classroom, not even in the school period, but can extend into adulthood. It can range from insults, to threats, teasing about the sexual condition of the person, about their physical features, any imperfection they may have, any tic.

In addition, there is social bullying. One of the least known types of bullying and, perhaps, the most used. Let's imagine that we want to play a soccer game, but nobody chooses us or they make excuses that all the places are already occupied by our classmates. Let's also think about the idea that we approach our classmates and they are commenting on photos of a party to which we have not been invited. In an explicit way, we have been left aside, we have been kicked out of that group we thought we belonged to. It is a form of subtle bullying, in which we do not count on that person with whom we have to be in class and do work. You turn your back on them, you exclude them. The emotional pain that this type of bullying can cause can be very difficult to overcome.

In conclusion, nowadays, many schools still have to learn how to handle cases of bullying and school harassment, since the situation has not yet been solved in the best way. Bullying is any form of psychological, verbal or physical mistreatment produced between students repeatedly over a period of time both in the classroom and through social networks, with the specific name of cyber-bullying. Statistically, the dominant type of violence is emotional and occurs mostly in the classroom and on school playgrounds. The protagonists of bullying cases are usually boys and girls in the process of entering adolescence. The aim of bullying is to intimidate, intimidate, intimidate, reduce, reduce, subdue, flatten, frighten and consume, emotionally and intellectually, the victims.

Have you witnessed bullying?

It is generally very difficult to confront this type of abuse. As you say out of fear, since it is always someone older or a group. This type of abuse has to be attacked from different angles in order to eradicate it. From the state, institutions, rules, warnings, educators, family, etc....
