Macapuno jam prep! My officemate gave me two pieces of macapuno or what we called here a "mutant coconut" or "freak coconut" or "coconut sport" Why freak or mutant? It's because of it's abnormal development. Unlike the normal coconut, macapuno texture is so soft and jelly like. And you can notice that the shell is full. I think that's where the name came from. Maca-PUNO, Puno means full in english. .hehhee. ata..hahhaahaha. hula ko langs. lol. We just need to add sugar in it. Cook til the sugar caramelized. .then yun na. Merun ka ng macapuno jam. Making a jam out of macapuno is delicious not only as fillings to bread but as well as a dessert.

Lubi? Yan po ba tawag sa inyo sis? Bale ano po, our province po is famous sa coconut. Me nagsulit po sa kanila ng mga lukad kaso ung 2 sako daw is puro ganyan kaya luge sila. Kesa masira, pinapamigay na lang ehehhehe
