Simple strategy to overcome the habit of worrying. consists of programming certain times to do it, what I call "worry breaks." If we are faced with a difficulty, it is easy for us to spend all hours of the day concentrating on it. Instead, schedule set times to worry, such as half an hour each afternoon. During that worrying session, you can allow yourself to address your issues and difficulties. But once that period is over, train yourself to leave your problems behind and do something more productive, like going for a walk in a natural environment, reading a book that inspires you or have an intimate and honest conversation with someone you love or admire. If during other times of the day you feel the need to worry, write down what worries you in a notepad, which you can take to the next session dedicated to worry. This simple but powerful technique help gradually reduce the amount of time you spend worrying, and in the end you will eradicate that habit forever. Robin sharma
