*History of World Blood Donor Day World Blood Donor Day was first observed on June 14, 2004, with the initial aim of building awareness of the need for blood donation. Well, June 14 was chosen by WHO because this date is the birthday of Karl Landsteiner. Karl Landsteiner is a scientist who is credited with discovering blood grouping. Karl Landsteiner won the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1930 for his work in classifying blood groups. Landsteiner was the first to classify human blood into blood types A, B, AB, and O. So, the discovery of dr. Landsteiner brought major changes to the world of medicine, especially blood transfusions. >> Happy blood donation worldwide, thank you for those who have sincerely donated your blood... #IndoJo #Noisensei #NoiseCash #Bch #Knowledge
