What's the big deal about 'rentible.io'/RNB? The price of RNB is $2.38 with a Total Supply of 3.5 million Tokens in the market. This statement says a lot about the deal and hype of RNB. *Rentible.io is the perfect example of moving towards a decentralized proptech-economy. Property business would not be the same again like the old days. As we entered the meta era, so this is the new phase we need to adopt. One platform can apply immutable records of property deeds through blockchain technology. And a good market share on crypto makes it stronger.* RNB is still a new project starting from May (I believe). I'm not an investor on this but keeping an eye to become a future investor. Why? The answer is simple. Because it seems full of potential to me in terms of future growth. There are many other proptech platforms growing. But as an early adopter RNB will make an advantage in the market. There's a lot of development in the upcoming year. And I believe the team is working well on them. Though I have seen the rating showing 'poor' in isthiscoinascam.com. But that's not bothering me for now. Coz I have much other good news about this project. First it's a next-gen meta platform The technology and ecosystem are good. The token price, the market cap seem promising. Mass adoption is quite possible. Keeping this point in mind, I have to say that rentible.io is the next big thing in the property business as well as the meta market. *But as I have said, I'm not an investor on RNB yet so I would suggest you make your decision wisely. This is not a promotional post and I have no affiliation with RNB. I only wrote what I think about the project.* First Screenshot from Rentible.io Second Screenshot from coinopsy.com Thanks for reading my post.

Urban Off Grid life - An impossibly possible mission. (part-1) I always dreamed of living in a suburban place, producing a portion of my own food, living in a less polluted place, and living in peace. But for living I'm staying in a city. And the kind of job I do (in an advertisement agency) it's totally urban-based. So I have no choice but have to live here. Moving to a suburban place, for now, is impossible for me. Maybe I would not make it in another 10 years. I do enjoy city life, the lively energy of the city. But at the same time, my mind tells me to choose more sustainable options, be more energy-efficient in my living, and have a healthy lifestyle. So whenever I think of living an off grid life, it makes me yawn thinking how impossible that is. image link https://pixabay.com/photos/street-leiden-netherlands-dutch-1447955/ Recently I was reading some articles and found a website named **off-grid-living.com** where I found more options that could be adaptable in urban lifestyle. It's like a jackpot to me. I read different articles there, came to understand that I have unknowingly adopted some off-grid lifestyle. More importantly, I learned so many new things that can be incorporated into urban life. I'm going to share with you some of them gradually. **Urban off grid life doesn't mean we have to produce our own food, have our own cost efficient/eco-friendly energy production. If it's possible then that's great. But for most of us, it's quite impossible** So what to do? `First we need to understand that, off-grid living is a process. It's not like I can turn my life upside down in a day. It's more like one step at a time. So for now, if I can't produce my own food I'm looking for better options like organic food. If we can't produce our own energy we can reduce it/convert it to eco-friendly energy sources if possible like a solar panel.` Making some wise choices can lead us to the off grid life we are thinking about. Making urban off grid life self-sufficient is quite impossible. You have to depend on others one way or another. But making better choices, reducing waste, living more sustainably can make a positive impact in a passive way that can help the world as well as improve our lifestyle. I will talk about what I have adopted so far and plan in another post. Keep in touch. Thanks for reading my post.

First day of December and 3 school students got killed in US! A 15 years old killed three students with the handgun his father bought a few days ago. Do we need anything else to add to feel more distressed about? This is the not first time and nor will be the last. It's so unfortunate to see this type of incident. You can read BBC report about the incident for more info. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-59484333 image link https://unsplash.com/photos/-SczjKy3vAQ *I'm not a citizen of the US, it should not bother me. Every day I see a lot of crime in my own country, a lot get killed and die for many reasons. But seeing a gun in the hand of a 15-year-old is more serious than anything. Moreover the Gun polity, I can't even think of touching my Dad's weapon or getting the opportunity to touch it. How easy it is, right?* I would definitely say that if that gun was not so easily accessible to the kid, he would not choose this option. Moreover, we need to talk about the **mental health** of this Z generation. They are getting depressed, life is not the same anymore for pandemics and for other reasons. We need to think of ways to make them feel more connected to society. This has no impact on my life and maybe yours too. But for how long? Today or tomorrow this will happen in our country too. Maybe not a gun case but in other ways. Coz the mental health is almost the same everywhere else. We need to find ways to make kids much more connected to life. I wish we could find some ways soon. Thanks @renren16 for the sponsorship. It means a lot to me.

We are the one that can turn the wheel on. Personal development? Climate change? Any improvement in society? Pollution? Whatever you name it, everything starts with us. No matter how much we deny but we are part of the big game. Now it's our choice whether we want to be an active player or work like nothing happens and accept the negativity. **If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. – Eldridge Cleaver** This is what I believe. So whenever something bothers me, my mind automatically reminds me to think if I'm part of the problem. If I find the answer affirmative, I try to minimize it or whatever I can. *image link* https://unsplash.com/photos/5Zg64OwXJg8 I'm not trying to prove myself. Rather I believe this should be our way of action. Not everything will come closer to eyes, not everyone will point out to us what's the problem. Sometimes unknowingly we create the problem. That's why checking out with ourselves is necessary. This simple act makes us act more responsively. But this behavior comes from many things like our education system, culture ie. I can give example with one simple thing. *One of my friends who used to study in military school is very disciplined. He never spits on the street, never throws away food. Like something that we all do sometimes but he never does that. We sometimes talk about it like how his institution helped him to establish that mindset and see the big picture.* He is one of my inspirations and to be honest, whenever I do something wrong like not using the garbage can properly, my mind reminds me of him. Maybe I'm going out from the discussion. Anyway, what I meant to say is, **We can act, from our end by putting in the intentional effort. It's very possible to change our way of action and see the bigger picture. No matter what it is, self-development or climate change, like I said earlier, we can train our mindset to turn the action wheel.** Remember, our small positive actions can bring huge change. Thanks for reading my post.

Can NFTs become a solution for creator/artists? NFTs- people are calling it the best digital goods you can have. I don't own any nor I'm thinking of buying anytime soon. I'm still analyzing the market and seeing people get millionaires on NFT marketplaces. *image link* https://pixabay.com/illustrations/nft-nfts-cryptocurrency-6795915/ For now, there are only a few sorts of NFTs, right? But I guess the market is expanding. > Twitter is integrating NFTs. Facebook is taking part in the building of a metaverse. Nike is creating NFT verification on shoes. Coinbase is building an NFT marketplace This is what I found from forbes.com But the list is longer than this, like Tiktok, Coca-Cola is on the list too. And this is not going to stop there. As NFTs are a digital asset that links ownership to any kind of unique physical or digital items, so the market is going to take over in a few years. We will get to see NFT identity is everything like music, real state, any kind of social media contest including all the arts and creative works. This statement says a lot that it can be a solution for any creator/artist/creative work out there to make their own money in a whole new way. And I say, without putting too much extra effort. You can read about **pplpleasr** an NYC-based artist, how NFTs changed her life. This is just the beginning. I believe, we are gradually adopting a whole new world for creators and NFTs as well as crypto would become an earning solution for us. You can read my previous article about NFTs [NFT craze - Where we are going?](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@iamjohn/nft-craze-where-we-are-going-part-1)

Why I can promise myslef anything? No specific future goals, no self-development plan, no materialistic thoughts. I sometimes think about where I'm going? *I'm a family man, I have to arrange bread and butter, pay the bills of my family, take care of thousand things. My time is occupied by so many things. But when I get time, I start to think, why there's no promise, like no future plan. Just living my life the way it is. It sometimes makes me feel guilty, empty. Coz I didn't have done much for self-development, spiritual development, I don't invest much in myself. Rather just do the regular everyday stuff*. *image link* https://www.pexels.com/photo/a-grayscale-photo-of-a-man-sitting-on-the-beach-4450460/ Do some family guys are like this? Do some men are like this in general? Or I'm the one who is lagging behind everything. I mean, in my head I have a plan to build/buy a house in the next few years, a nice car maybe. But the next day I feel like, whatever is going on that's okay. I can't push myself anymore. Maybe I'm too lazy to get something. Maybe I'm spoiled from my childhood so can't work much. **Like, yesterday I thought I would write a whole series on NFTs. Today I'm not feeling like writing that anymore - the second part. There are thoughts in my mind about that but I don't feel the motivation anymore.** There was no promise from myself actually. I'm this way from the very beginning. Coz my friends, family, my wife; everyone complains about this. I can't make any promises. I do put effort, I do make others happy. But in terms of 'achievement', I'm like lagging. I came to a conclusion that I'm not an achiever but a regular family guy, nothing special. I even thought that this mindset is the real culprit that doesn't help me to progress. But then, again I feel lazy and spoil another day. It's not like I don't do anything. It is also not like that I do party, have spoiled friends, or anything. I have a regular day job, I earn something from crypto too. I do some trading here and there. But that's all. When I see others, I feel frustrated that I'm not an achiever. I'm like the lazy guy sitting behind, spending my life, not adding much value. Why I'm like this? Do you have the answer? Is there anyone who is also in the same boat?

NFT craze - Where we are going? (Part 1) A few days ago when I was browsing the Binance NFT market, my dad saw my monitor and was pretty surprised. When I explained to him what it is about, he got more surprised. To be honest the whole NFT thing still seems pretty crazy to me. So it must be something more than crazy to a 65 years old man. Anyway... I'm not into NFT till now. But I'm feeling a huge bubble inside my stomach to swim in the NFT world. Why? Because I believe this will be the future of the digital world. *image link* https://pixabay.com/illustrations/nft-nfts-cryptocurrency-6795915/ If you are not living under a rock then you already know what NFT is. If you still don't know then here's what Wiki will tell you - `A non-fungible token is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a digital ledger. NFTs can be associated with easily-reproducible items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files as unique items, and use blockchain technology to give the NFT public proof of ownership.` *info source* https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-fungible_token Coming to the reason why I believe NFT will dominate the future is simple. The major reason is, it's the 'non-interchangeable unit' characteristic of it. Every single day the amount of content we are seeing online and even offline, many are those facing copyright issues. NFT could solve this in a second. Till now there are only digital art forms/game characters but gradually all sorts of content will be associated with NFT for sure. We officially entered into the era of Metaverse. No need to say that this will be connected/complied with NFT. Because Metaverse world would be like another reality and like any other game or whatever you name it, you have to own things there. NFT is the best possible solution for that. I can talk about hundreds of other points why I believe NFT would dominate the market in the future. For now, it seems a bit crazy, how some crazy artwork is getting so much value. But think about it's not just that, it's a digital asset which you can sell, it's your collectible, you own it. Moreover, it's in the crypto market baby. We all know that the new money is crypto and NFT’s gonna be the new digital asset we can own with our crypto money. I have a plan to write on NFT, maybe another few articles, about its shortcomings, the risks, opportunities, and more. Keep in touch for the 2nd part. Thanks for reading my post.

Hello again, read.cash community. I was not being active lately, maybe for three days. My days were occupied by so many things. Unfortunately, it has been a while but I still didn't manage to progress much here. When I joined read.cash, I promised myself I would be very active here more than other chains/platforms. But my time got occupied by other things. This is life, I guess. My Dad came to visit me, see a renowned doctor for his age-old diabetes. I had to make an appointment and every other thing to make sure dad doesn't have to face any difficulties. That's the reason I was not around. But anyway, I'm just a newbie so it doesn't affect others but only me. Image link https://unsplash.com/photos/2enBTsIVhUU *Because I believe, it's necessary to prove ourselves, the very first days what we have to offer to give to the community so people can find us interesting.* I failed on that, maybe. Moving on... I didn't get a huge attention/vote till now. The best thing is, I get some views. So it's not childish to assume people click and maybe read my writings but maybe they don't feel like voting it. That's okay, I know it takes time to build a profile. And why would anyone/random rewarded vote me if people don't find me interesting! I'm trying my best to put my effort here, the rest will be decided by you. But one good thing I have done so far. I became a sponsor of 4 people. If I could earn a little more I have a plan to sponsor more. Again, this post may seem full of frustration. But I'm not trying to do it on the negative side of it. Rather I'm trying to motivate myself to do more through this writing. See you around everyone.

Alignment before Action - How do I apply this in my life? **A sudden desire and I work on to fulfill it.** This was my motto many years ago, whether it's about buying some new-fashioned cloth or choosing my career. Not seeing the outcome or I may say, not taking the time to see the alignment was my biggest mistake. Image link https://unsplash.com/photos/3cgXL5SHPs4 You may ask, what is alignment in life? To me- It's like checking how I feel about my action. What output my action can bring. My thoughts and effort to align my actions. These are the three key elements that help me to choose the right way. But I wouldn't say that I became great successful or anything close. But I have to approve of my everyday life choices seeing the alignment or making the alignment right helps a lot to be in the position you want to see yourself. *Say for example Hive. How much effort you put here, how much power up and everything; all these should not be random choices. I choose to be random like whatever I can earn or power up for years and didn't find any result. Then I start to align my action. I put effort to align my future plan about it, checking how much I really can so that I don't make any unachievable goal- these are helping me to do things one at a time.* No, I'm not successful here also; I have some other priorities. But that's another thing. Seeing the alignment before my action in terms of Hive perspective really helped me and helps me in other ways in my daily life. You can try it too. Thanks for reading my post.

Superhero character and their influence in our personality traits. I can remember how much I used to copy batman when I was younger. Back then Marvel comics were a huge hype, they didn't come in movies yet. Also, there were other local comics too. During my teen ages, I copied James Bond. I mean who doesn't? He was cool, he got girls, he looked powerful. Everyone loves James Bond. image link https://www.pexels.com/photo/blue-and-red-superman-print-tank-top-shirt-38630/ I believe, most of the kids have their fav superhero which they copy; through their imagination or through their real-life behavior. I was thinking how much the superhero or any movie/cartoon character influences our personality traits. No need to say they have a strong influence on our behavior or in our thinking process too. Now the question is if it's good or bad. **In bold eyes anyone would agree that there's nothing wrong in following superheroes. But their physical appearance, their superpower, their influence is society is nothing close to real life. We have seen how some also choose to undergo plastic surgery, eating disorders to look like superheroes.** So it would not be 100% okay to say there are no negative influences of superheroes in our personality traits. There are many researchers and publications you can find on this topic. My thought is - We can teach our kids to draw the line between imagination and reality. But it's too tough. The industry comes with a lot more alternative superheroes or cartoon characters with a lot more realistic features. Let's make our kids introduced to them. Also, as an adult, I think we should understand how much they are influencing us. I mean there's a line, right? You can copy your fav superhero, game character, whatever your life. But building our own personality based on what we believe is necessary. Also, it should be matched the reality we live in. Otherwise, there would be a high chance to get personality conflict and who knows maybe identity crisis too. Thanks for reading my post.

Temporary pump of Hive yet some positive impact. When I'm writing this post Hive is already down to $1.10. But hay, that's more than what it was yesterday. I believe, today it went up to $1.30, which I couldn't catch obviously. I mean, it was only for a short period of time. Anyway, I was analyzing the market today and saw some interesting things. Let's talk about that. *This time, when every other crypto price is dropping, Hive price increased suddenly. There's an increase of 314.25% in trading volume. I mean if we compare this with any other similar token then we have to approve that it's huge.* I'm not a Hive treader so I don't get frustrated over the temporary pump. But I'm seeing a lot of people going crazy because they couldn't catch the hype. I usually set an alarm on my crypto app so when a certain coin went up to my desired value, it rings my phone. You can do this if you think it would be useful for you. Anyway, in all this frustration I'm seeing hope. The opposite price trend of Hive can bring more people to this chain. And more people means the price of our token will increase based on the engagement. The competition for the daily reward pool going to increase also. There are so many new curators/big accounts. I believe a consistent creator can get a good piece of cake. So why not get a little more hopeful about the temporary pump? `screenshots from coinmarketcap.` Thanks for reading my post

What I've learned in my First week at read.cash? Hello, read.cash community. It's been just a week I joined here. The name read.cash still seems very new to me. Because I found it a few days ago, it looked interesting and didn't hesitate to join here. Image link https://unsplash.com/photos/C3V88BOoRoM So in these few days, I have learned something. Today, let me share my very first experience with you. This community is very welcoming. I also use other crypto-based blogging platforms but didn't receive these many responses in my first few days. It means a lot. People read. Yes, it surprised me a lot. Because in other places people don't usually read especially the content of newcomers. Also, I love to consume content so I'm enjoying my time here. Engagement is the key just like any other place. That means I need to read more so I could engage more. There's no other way. Understanding the interface, frontend, and how it works is very easy in reading.cash. I believe this is the strength of this platform too. These are some of my broad observations rather than learning, I may say. But it's also true I learned a few things. Like getting more knowledge on crypto and related things. *I'm not a content creator years ago. Though I'm in crypto, usually do trading but never were interested in writing. Or maybe I was not sure I could write anything. After joining these platforms, my view changed a lot. And I got more hands-on crypto for sure.* I do a 9-5 but usually 9-8 day job. So you can understand my days are occupied by many things. I feel exhausted when I come back home. Also, I have to take care of my family. But I try my best to do something through engagement and content consumption. Sometimes I can't keep up anymore. But I promised myself to build a good profile. I hope read.cash will add great value to my future journey. I have no sponsor till now, only four subscribers. So, there is a long way to go, many things to do. I hope I would be there gradually. Thanks for reading my post.

Some of the Trading/Holding decisions I failed to make wisely and my learning. I had 2 BTC. Can you believe this? Yes, almost two BTC. Some I sold in December 2018 and hold the rest. Then when the price start to grow a little I sold 95% of my holding in mid-2020. Nope, it doesn't make me feel frustrated. But sure, I can be wiser, I could hold it for a little longer. And maybe I would be a millionaire by now. Image link https://unsplash.com/photos/Lta5b8mPytw **What made me sell my BTC in 2018?** Back in 2018 December, the price was sitting on the $3000 line for too long. I lost my hope, I needed some money. I have to approve that the money is an excuse here. I could hold it for longer and arrange money from other sources. This was my first mistake to not have faith and patience. My second mistake was I didn't invest the money in other cryptos. I cash out the whole amount. If I didn't do those two things will be different. What mistake I make again in 2020? When in 2020 the price of BTC was raising I thought this is the perfect time to withdraw some money. Like when I had them it was around $3000 and when I decided to sell them it became around $10000. That was a good deal if I compare. But now we all know the math could be different if I can hold for a little too long. BTC was steady at around $10000 for many months so my thought was this will be the steady price. I sold my 95% asset in June 2020. If I could wait a few more months then things would be different. **My learning from these two mistakes.** Hold Hold Hold. Don't lose faith, at least on BTC. Research, analyze the market, see the average holding trend. Study more, believe in the prediction. More importantly don't sell everything like me, 95%. If you need emergency money sell not more than 50%. And if possible invest the money in other cryptos if you don't believe in whatever crypto you are investing. In conclusion, I would say, make your decision wisely if you are selling. Crypto is the future. I will say it again, crypto is the future. So make your treading/holding/selling/investing decision wisely. And you will be no loser. Thanks for reading my post.

@Iamjohn

Should we call it a 'price correction'? It's been more than a week since Bitcoin hit a new all-time high. After that, there must be a correction. But the question is, is this what happening right now or the market is going down? Let's see. **We are seeing a 2.05% down on BTC price. Every other crypto is also showing a similar trend. I guess it will be up to 8%, around $5&. From what I understand this correction will last for a week at least or maybe more.** The market volume, buy and sell trend says that this price drop might not be indicating any bearish market. At least not in a few months. I would not tag it as a crash, for now, we have to wait a few days to say so. Now coming to other coins and tokens, this applies the same I guess. I'm not into them except BTC. So not commenting on them. But the concern is legitimate, I have to approve. The slowing trend might run for another few weeks. That may impact negatively the market but on the other hand, this revolution will take time to slow down. So maybe not a hard correction but a slow crash. Time will say. `I wrote this article two days ago so every data is backdated. Sorry for the inconveniences.` Thanks for reading my post.

Stick to ETH. Apparently, ETH became the new hype. And why should not be? We crossed the All-time-high line '$4,865.57' just yesterday. Unfortunately, I'm not an ETH holder. But seems like I need to sell some meme coins and buy more ETH and BTC. `Screenshot from coindesk.com` Look at the curve, how smooth it is. It says a lot of it's gonna be steady or not. I believe the price correction would also not be too low. Let's see. Now the question is why I'm saying to stick in ETH? I personal thought is owning/buying 1 ETH is always easy than 1BTC. And the way it's growing so it will not take much longer to double our money. Also, I can buy some portion and hold it as it's growing fast. I read it somewhere ETH became more popular over time on coinbase. People are investing more in ETH than BTC. It says a lot about the market trend. ETH and BTC make up almost a trillion-dollar cryptocurrency market. So we can say that this two have a huge influence on the market. So owning some can never be a bad idea. I can remember, at the end of last year when ETH was around $500 I sold 90% of my ETH. I wish I had faith in this coin so I can hold it for longer. But it was not a loss coz I invested that money into BTC. Some market index is showing that in five years ETH will be around $11000. If that would be true then it's an opportunity for me. Not because of the price surge but because of its uptrending market cap and smooth curve. We have to wait a bit longer to see what is coming. But I believe in ETH and buying more to hold more. *Disclaimer: I'm not an investment advisor so I would not be responsible for your investment plan. Do invest at your own risk.*

Advanced achievement through promising less - How do I apply this in real life? My ex-boss taught me this - how advanced achievement works. I'm really grateful that he taught me this so I can apply it and do good in the future. He didn't do that when I was working with him but the time I left the organization. It's because it's a hack ;) Maybe that's why he didn't want any of his employees to apply this at his organization. Image link https://unsplash.com/photos/5QgIuuBxKwM Let's see how it works. *Suppose you have a deadline. You know that you can meet that with proper time management. But let your company know that how big it is for you to achieve that, how much input you have to give to achieve that goal. Promise less, say that you may not gonna meet the deadline. Then submit it before that. It may sound unethical but it's not. Because you are doing what you are supposed to, even before the deadline.* This small trick will make an impact and let others think about how advanced-achiever you are, how hardworking you are. You can also apply this in your personal life too. If your friend asks you to bring a dish to the party, bring more than one. But say, you may not make it. Or in a restaurant, while ordering food, express with your gesture that you can not pay that much bill. But pay it off in the end. Again I'm saying, it may sound ethical. But it's actually not. Because you are just creating a small impact on people. You are tricking them to think you are a good achiever, always keep promises, do more than what you are supposed to. It's a good life hack if you can apply this wisely. Don't try to be an overachiever all the time but sometimes. So people can trust you. In this business world, it's very necessary to prove yourself. And this can be a nice trick you can apply. # Thanks for reading my post

Copycat investment strategy - Effectiveness and risks from my experience. I was reading an article the other day about how to be a perfect copycat investor. Yes, there are ways to not make a slip while following this strategy. But there are more backdrops if you blindly follow the top investors and money managers. *Image link* https://unsplash.com/photos/PzifgmBsxCc People tend to follow this when they join the market- newbies. So they don't have to think about taking risks on their own. But my question is- **Can a newbie hold that much patience?** Usually, they don't, they don't learn to be a holder for long. And they tend to switch on other markets/coins/tokens whatever it is. If this is the scenario then the copycat strategy will never work. Another great problem with this strategy is- Who you should **follow**? There are so many international as well as local popular investors, money managers, buy and hold managers; it's enough to confuse anyone. So we tend to follow randomly and end up making less profit or loss. **We have to keep in mind that "Popular investors have their own benefits hidden in investments."** We didn't forget what happened with the Dogecoin, right? There are thousands of other examples of this. It's because influencers would influence for their own gain. **What do we need to do instead?** To be honest, I was also a copycat. And from what I understand- we all have our own logic, win and lose points, different levels of understanding. So our investment should always depend on what we want from it. It will never match with any popular investor nor with your friend. Do follow what they say, where they invest. But research, study, observe and then make your decision. It's better to walk on your foot and make your own path. **Thanks for reading my post.**

A sudden boom! Where we are going? Green candlesticks make us happy. On the other hand, we know that a sudden boom will never last forever, not even a week. So the question is, where we are going? You may have already seen/read and research yourself about the market curves. So I'm not going to add more. Till now everything looks good. Major coins and tokens are showing positive shine. *Screenshot from coinmarketcap* BTC is at an all-time high, many are just a few dollars away from crossing the record. Maybe this is the time when we can say that we entered the era of crypto. I hope this will stay and we really can make the saying comes true. Anyway, while analyzing the market for a while some coins and tokens caught my eyes. Seems like they are emerging from nowhere. Though it seems manipulating, also it shows the sign of mass investment too. *Screenshot from: tradingview.com* The curves are showing a hugely positive sign. It's steady although it happened in a shorter period. So we can hope to see the era of BTC for real. *Screenshot from: tradingview.com* A few days ago, I have shared that I'm going to buy some more BTC. Some of my friends were calling that it's not a good sign coz it's not dipped. But now we can see that was a dip compared to this, right? In conclusion, I must say crypto is at an all-time high. If even I predict the worst then this market will take time to go down. And I guess, the treaders and investors will not let that happen. This sudden boom is feeling like it will vanish as such. But the signs, trends don't say the same. So I'm hopeful and investing more. `Disclaimer: I'm not an investment advisor. Do invest in your own risk.` # Thanks for reading my post.

keeping in mind some highly unlikely things. There are two sides to keeping unlikely thoughts in mind. One, we can predict the unpredictable. Two, it will stress us out and drain our energy. Racing thoughts are never good for us. But what if we take control of the race and keep some unlikely thoughts there? Image Source https://unsplash.com/photos/fMh-VTuMHQs *I never thought I would be a crypto investor. It was the last thing I would do, five years back. But now, here I'm. Crypto and investment were always there in my mind. Maybe that's why I made it possible. There are other ways of it too. Like, I keep in mind the risk that may never happen in crypto. Or who knows? So we should make a Plan B ready.* I can give another example from real life. Some people don't believe in having life insurance or saving something for their health. I'm talking about this from my country's context. But I have seen how people struggle when they need it. They never think about the highly unlikely things. Life is unpredictable. That's why keeping some unlikely thoughts can save us in the end. Info source https://www.jetpunk.com/users/sacheth9/blog/whats-the-most-unlikely-thing-that-can-happen-to-you *I searched on Google about some unlikely thoughts/events/things and this came first. I had a good laugh on this. I mean, these are not what I'm talking about. If I keep thinking about becoming a president and look over what's going on around, what I need to work on; I will be a loser in no time.* It's not like we have to think like what we usually think after watching 'Final Destination'. No. Everything will not happen not they will affect us. Racing thoughts are no good for anyone. It will stress us out, make us more anxious and we will probably lose the power to see and analyze our reality. So better, have control over your thoughts. **Overthinking and overacting the mind is not good. But having a blank mind sucks more. There are thousands of ways we can stop living in our heads and start living in reality. I guess this is the right path.** @Iamjohn

Is this a bad time to invest in BTC? I was buying some Bitcoin the other day. My online group members were asking me not to because the price is too high. I didn't hesitate and bought some. Yes, I approve that the price is high and so the risk is high too. Image https://unsplash.com/photos/Lta5b8mPytw But something was in my mind: A festive season is coming in the next month so I'm hopeful the price will get a bit higher. BTC prediction is also quite high, though on average it will be around $50-$60k. I will not hold it for longer, if the price goes more than $65k, I will probably sell it. I know this is not a good investment strategy. I'm also not a BTC holder. But this time, I need some quick money and thought December would be a positive time to do that. I didn't buy a huge amount but a decent one and wouldn't wait to double it. Rather would sell it if I get to see a decent surge. So is this a bad time to invest in BTC or overall crypto? I guess it's not too late. *Major coin and tokens are at a good rate. It's not dipped nor it will be dip sooner (from my point of view). So waiting means we are losing the opportunity. Better I'm taking the risk.* 2021 is the year of BTC. I can remember, I was so happy when it cross the $40k line. Now $40k seems like a dip. This change in the market is amazing. Also, market analysis saying, it will rock on the next year too. Also, the market was quite stable for the whole year, except in May. But that was also higher than other years. So think about it. Who knows, maybe we would see $100,000 in no time. `I wouldn't suggest anyone follow my path, invest at your own risk.` Thanks for reading my post. @iamjohn

The rich man's economy. One of my teachers once told me, 'how do you think rich men stay riches or their future generation takes the lead?' He gave the answer himself, 'it's because of the rich man's economy.' Every system from a bank to a virtual economy, every strategy is made either by the rich men or to give them extra benefits. And why not? Because it's like a give and takes. So what we can do in this rich man's economy, I asked my teacher that time. He told me, 'you don't have to do anything, they will force or lead you to do. Either you flow or you sunk.' There can be arguments with this. Because we have seen many rises and shine from nothing and become rich. But then, again, they put themselves in the rich man's economy. Breaking coop is one of the toughest things. I can give example from my side. *I'm in investing for almost 10 years now, on local stock and crypto. And I do a day job for almost a decade now. I sometimes think, what if I left my day job and invest all of my time in investment and business. Maybe I could be more successful than my current status. But I couldn't take that step, not just for social stereotypes but also I don't have the courage.* This is the story of millions. In this rich man's economy, it's hard to work for 8 hours or more, pay your rent, and still work so you can be rich someday. > Data shows that the rich really do get richer, and it's in large part because they get higher returns on their investments. If someone who's in the poorest 25% of the spectrum would have invested $1 in 2004, they would have, on average, $1.5 by 2015. Then think about what the rich will get as a return. **Info source** With our little investment, it's almost impossible to earn crazy money. Maybe we don't have to struggle to pay our rents, maybe we can afford a good lifestyle. But becoming rich would be a dream that will never come true. # Thanks for reading my post. @iamjohn

Cryptocurrency and financial freedom. // Can we ever achieve that? Financial freedom is a vast thing to discuss. We have long arguments about whether or not it's ever achievable or not. Some call it vague and not achievable. I don't name it rather think it's a perspective. To afford our desire is not a simple thing as long as we have unlimited needs. But if we draw a line, then we can easily say if we have achieved that freedom or not. To do that, we need that perspective and mindset to think that way, to draw that line. But that's another thing to talk about. Today, I was thinking if cryptocurrency can bring financial freedom. I guess we can remember when people start to gain trust over BTC, we used to say, BTC can bring financial freedom. And not just that, there are thousands of altcoins, currencies, and whatnot. All this sure opened a new window of the economy. Now the thing is, we need to approve that, for many, like millions, crypto sure gave a space to invest, to earn, save and have access to money that they never think about. It's like out of nowhere, or investing fiat is giving us a space to create more money. So why not call it another form of freedom! **The risk of losing our fund, scam, risky investment everything is present here and will be. But that doesn't mean cryptocurrency didn't create the space to run a new economy. A powerful economy, maybe not mainstream but influential.** If I talk from my point of view, then sure, cryptocurrency has brought a kind of freedom, in one sense. I'm kind of 50/50 here. Because that freedom is not applied to all. In many countries cryptocurrency is not legal, in others, there's no space to transact. We still need many infrastructural level developments, legal issues to solve, mass adoption to reach a point when we can call it freedom. *While talking about this, one thing we can never ignore. And that is the risk of being anonymous when it comes to transactions. It creates a big hole and people use that black hole to invest in weapons, drugs, and whatnot.* So yes, not 100% freedom but we can reach that. If we think, if developers think these ways, then maybe someday, sure we can bring the kind of freedom we need. `Hi, this is my first post to read.cash. I'm still in the learning phase.
