What Makes You Happy?

Blessed Friday to all of you. Thank God it is already weekend tomorrow and all the modules of my kids were already done and ready for submission on Monday. I can finally relax tomorrow but I still have our laundry so that will be my next job to do. But for now, I try to relax my aching body and my tired mind. Hope all of you had a nice week and looking forward to a relaxing weekend. May our Lord always guide and bless us. I was contemplating how to express my side regarding my topic. What makes you happy is so broad and I am afraid that I can't express the facts that were into it. But I try my best to express myself regarding this matter. Who are you? How do cope well and do things that make you happy? Are you really happy in your life? Do you know why it is necessary to do things that make you happy? When you are happy all of the negativity in life has no room you build your self-esteem and you can tell yourself You deserve all of the happy things in life you have. All the insecurities that were building within you make no sense for happiness just make them fade in the background. There was a saying by, ***Jim Rohn, “Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.”*** This means there is no time when you will be happy our life is so short to waste on things that makes us feel bad. That thing that makes you happy is the reason why you should go for it. Once I heard a story when I was a kid this story is between two men who have different statuses in life the other is poor and the other one is well off. The poor one always sings joy in his heart he sings as he does his job to provide for his family. Even his family is so happy when they were together at night to give thanks for everything they have got. On the other side, the rich are sad he is always afraid that all Of his fortunes will be robbed by someone. He always feels a grudge towards others and he never allows anyone to be near him. One day the rich man hear the poor guy singing and he got irritated so he came down from his mansion to stop the other guy he told why are you still happy despite being poor I can give you some money so you can stop singing the poor man replied I do not want your money if I do not work for it even we are poor I do not want to take advantage of others I am happy to know why because I am grateful I have learned to accept the life that was given to us and we are doing our best to still succeed in our dreams even we take a little step from time to time. Sir if you want to be happy learn to have a grateful heart it will give peace to your mind and your life. ***(Story from Superbook)*** This story is an eye-opener to one of the facts of having a grateful heart that will give you happiness. Happiness does not only depend on the material things in this life we have. It is within us to start on how we will be happy. The poor guy is happy he is so grateful for everything he has. And to the rich one, I do not know how he can be happy when all in his mind is his fortune. So for you, my dear friends do what makes you happy remember life is short and you will regret that you do not do the things that make you happy.
