Sansevieria Cylindrica - I was surprised today when I found Sansevieria Cylindrica in my garden with flowering buds. Sansevieria Cylindrica is a succulent fan-shaped plant with stiff, dark cylindrical green leaves. Sansevieria cylindrica is a synonym for Dracaena angolensis. It's also known as the cylindrical snake plant, African spear, Spear sansevieria, Saint Barbara sword, African Spear, Skyline Spear Sansevieria, Cylindrical Mother-in-tongue, Law's Spear orchid, and other names. As you can see in my photo, flower spikes emerge from the leaf base on older plants. These flower spikes will develop into clusters of green to white flowering blooms with tubular shapes that can be tinted with pink. Now all I can do is enjoy its flowering buds and hope to see its flowering blooms when I return home from visiting my parents, which will most likely be after the New Year. How was your Monday?
