Singapore Daisy - There is no rain with the sun shining brightly and the temperature getting higher. The level of flooding near my house has not changed. The local government has declared that flooding in the area where I live will continue for the next month . I went for a walk in my property's flood area and discovered a bright, vibrant yellow flower creeping on the ground. In my country, it's known as the "Golden Button Flower". I was surprised to find Singapore Daisy on my property because I did not plant it. It produces a bright yellow to orange-yellow flower all year that is popular for planting as a ground cover in the landscape. Singapore Daisy is lovely, but it is prohibited in some countries, such as Australia , because it is invasive alien species that outgrow native plants. Singapore Daisy has several common names, including Bay Biscayne creeping-oxeye, creeping daisy, yellow dots, rabbit's paw, and others, with scientific name Sphagneticola trilobata.
