Curcuma Sessilis or Siam Tulip - I was supposed to have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of these Siam Tulips in my garden, but I was away for a month. The rain has caused the beautiful flowers of Siam Tulip to wilt. Even though it is called a tulip, this flower is found in a variety of of ginger species, including turmeric. The rainy season is the best time to enjoy its lovely flowers. This flower is a tropical plant native to Loas, Northern region of Thailand and Cambodia.
