Yellow Elder or Yellow Bells - This is one of beautiful, fast growing and big shrub in my garden collection. I love the bright yellow trumpet shaped flower clusters. The blossom of Yellow Elder Flower is great to attract bee, butterflies and birds. This is great as I need bees to help my fruit bearing trees in my garden and property for natural pollination. There are so many common names of this yellow trumpet shaped shrub including Tecoma Stans, Yellow Trumpetbush, Yellow Bells, Yellow Elder and etc. Yellow Elder is a drought tolerant plant that grow well in full sun or partial shade but full light will get you more blossom flowers. The flowers is on and off year round. I planted the Yellow Elder in a single trunk as a tree form and let it grows freely that can get large approximately 3-4 meters height.

They can be an excellent shade or a windbreaker. However they need to be regularly trimmed so that snakes will be deterred to thrive. Great shot!😊
Yellow Elder is great for shade plant , privacy screen or windbreaker. I planted those yellow elder along the property line without any trim as there are plenty space for them to grow freely.
Birds also love to stay on that plant as they have somekind of symbiotic relationship. The plant give them a place to dwell whilst the birds get rid of the worms and insects that will harm the plant.
They say yellow is the color of jealousy, but still I also love it very much and it is my favorite. Great photo for sure.
