The rain fell heavily last night, followed by light sprinkles this morning. However, the weather has returned to normal, which is extremely hot and sunny. The flooding around my property does not subside very easily. After the rain stopped, I went into the garden to pick some leaves from the Wild Betel Leaf Bush for my lunchtime cooking. With so much rain, the Wild Betel Leaf Bush plant has begun to bloom all over the bush. Even though it is not a showy flower, the tiny white flowers are really lovely.
