My another sad Caturday - This photo was taken when my black cat "Mommam" was at home after his liquid drained from lung. Seems to me that those 2 little kittens were so happy once their brother returned home. Early morning of last Thursday that I rushed to send Ginger and Lek to the vet clinic and hours later vet clinic notified me the passed away of Khim. From the FPV test was positive of both Lek and Ginger, Lek started to vomit that showed a visible symptom of FPV apart form loss of appetite and others. Ginger is not response well with the treatments and leads to my concerned as he is only 4 months old. Fluid therapy with essential nutrients plus antibiotics are a must to boost their immune to strive, survive and fight with the virus. No specific treatment is available to treat FPV infection . It is common for cats infection with FPV to die with dehydration and massive secondary infection. Both of Lek and Ginger are in critical period with my hope that their health response well with the treatment. Until today I am trying to locate my big brother 3 years old male cat "Tiger" in order to send him to the vet clinic for FPV test and any other treatment if necessary. So sad that I can not locate him. Some workers told me that they found some parts of small animal bones when they did some land improvement. What I have heard is punching into my face and I suspect those bones would be my cats that were out and never return home with sick, disease and infection. All these matters remind me to re think of the best way to raise them.
