Chinese Fringe Flower - Looking at a concrete wall, wooden fence, or barbed wire fence is unpleasant and boring. So I fancy my landscape gardening with greenery hedge made of plants, shrubs, and trees, as well as vibrant color flowers to cover or hide. This Chinese Fringe Flower is one of the shrubs I've been growing for hedging for nearly a year. It is a lovely shrub to look at all year round, with masses of frilly pink spidery flowers. It is a low maintenance plant that adds vibrancy to the landscape with a mix of green and burgundy foliage even when not in bloom. Chinese Fringe Flower, also known as Chinese Witch Hazel, Loropetalum, and others, is a species of Loropetalum Chinense native to China, Japan and Himalayan woodlands.
