Flower of Karonda Fruit - Great to have a rain during the past few days. But also made me concerned as too much rain will wash away some flowering that bearing fruits to falling down on the ground. I planted many of Karonda fruit trees along the fence line to enjoy eating the fruits and get the benefit of its branches that contain sharp spines for privacy protection. Karonda Fruit has a scientific name as Carissa Carandas and a common names including Bengal Current, Carandas Plum, Christ-Throne, Karendang, Buah Renda, Smarinda, Karanda and etc. Karonda Fruit is a flowering shrub with small white tabular flower that flowering in the arrangement on plant with a flower cluster in stem. The flower of Karonda fruit is pretty cute and delicacy. Once I see its flowering, I can rest assured that there will be many more fruits of Karonda to enjoy. Yes, Karonda fruit is highly rich in Vitamin C, B, iron, antioxidant and etc.
