Koronda Fruit - Walking is my best exercise that I try my best in every morning. It is an easy exercise that I can spot all plants and tree in the garden and around my property. Koronda fruit is one of my exotic super fruits in my plant collection. I planted along the property line where it is not well fence. As it is 2-3 meters height evergreen shrub, thick branching with sharp spines. The bloom will be in small white flower. The unripe fruit is in greenish white color with sour taste and will be in dark red or purple once being ripen with light sweet and sour taste. There is a latex sap of Koronda fruit that can be cleaned by soak the fruit with water and salt the rinse off with water. Koronda fruit is super rich in antioxidant , vitamin C, vitamin B, iron and etc. With the excellent source of iron that help in transporting oxygen within the blood while Vitamin C helps boosting immune system, collagen production and reduce inflammation. Koronda fruit is known by many names such as Kerenda/Karanda, Kerendang, Buah Renda, Samarinda, Bengal Currant and etc. It can be eaten in raw, unripe or cook it as jam or pickle. But Koronda fruit is a great smoothie drink with plenty of health benefits for me to enjoy. #MyGarden
