Bleeding Heart Vine - There was no rain this morning for a few hour, so I took a quick walk around my property. Today I cam across the beautiful flowers of Bleeding Heart Vine, which I planted along the fence line a year ago. This is one of the fastest growing vines that you can plant anywhere for your landscape. The bloom pattern or structure of Bleeding Heart Vine's flower is unique in its bloom pattern or structure of delicate white petals with deep red small petals emerging from the bottom. It is a fast growing plant that thrives in both full sun to partial shading. Other names for Bleeding Heart Vine include Bagflower, Bleeding Glorybower, Glory Tree, and others. Clerodendrum thomsoniae is scientific name for Bleeding Heart Vine.
