The sun has been burning bright since early morning, but the sky has become hazy later in the afternoon. I took the chance to go for a little drive with my father to see some land clearing work that needed to be done on my parents' property. This area had been left abandoned, so my parents decided to clear it and plant more fruit trees and other plants. That lovely yellow flower had now taken over an area of the property. Yes, it's the Yellow Creeping Daisy, also known as the Singapore Daisy. I've tried everything I can to find an answer, but I'm still puzzled as to why this weed flower is associated with Singapore considering the plant is neither a native of Singapore nor Southeast Asia, but rather originated from tropical America.
