What Is Dogecoin?

Largest Ferris Wheel Gift...
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is planning to introduce another entertainment project for Islamabad residents, according to a CDA official.
At Lake View Park, Pakistan's largest Ferris wheel, with a height of roughly 180 feet, is set to be installed. The Phase-II of the park stalled for over a decade is now being developed.
The CDA chairman has asked the Environment Wing to deliver the project's PC-I for clearance as soon is possible. Pakistan Movement Park is being built around the flag in sector H-8 along the Islamabad Highway.
Along with landscape characteristics, the park will contain massive walls with 2-D images depicting many pictorials of history's largest migration. Work is progressing at a rapid pace, with the park set to open on March 23, 2022. Similarly, a new park has been planned near Bhara Kahu in the National Park area.
Elon Musk bringing starlink internet to Pakistan
A delegation from Starlink, a worldwide satellite broadband provider based in the United States, paid a visit to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) headquarters in Islamabad today (Monday). Ryan Goodnight, Director Middle East & Asia, and Ben Macwilliam, Head of Global Site Acquisition, were among the participants.
Chairman PTA informed Starlink officials that PTA will assist their operations in accordance with Pakistan's regulatory framework.
He also gave Starlink representatives an update on the Prime Minister's Digital Pakistan vision and the potential for high-speed internet in Pakistan's burgeoning market.
During the conference, the two sides also discussed the deployment of satellite broadband access in Pakistan as well as Starlink's future intentions to connect Pakistan to their global network
Maj General Azeem Bajwa (R), Chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority, and the Executive Director of the Frequency Allocation Board met with the delegation.
Bitcoin Tumbled
Bitcoin has tumbled almost eight per cent after the discovery of a new, potentially vaccine-resistant coronavirus variant saw investors dump riskier assets for the perceived safety of bonds, the yen and the dollar.
Bitcoin, the largest digital currency, fell as much as 7.8pc to $54,377, its lowest since October 12.
It was on track for its biggest one-day drop since September 20, and has slumped by more than a fifth since hitting a record high of almost $70,000 earlier this month.
Scientists said the variant, detected in South Africa, Botswana and Hong Kong, has an unusual combination of mutations and may be able to evade immune responses or make it more transmissible.

China Devolping Pakistan
Pakistan Railways has agreed to collaborate with a Chinese defence and technology firm on the development of an artificial intelligence system that will allow passengers to plan and book door-to-door travels using a single app.
The China North Industries Group Corporation (Norinco) will develop the service over the next ten years as part of the public–private partnership agreement.
The arrangement, according to Pakistan’s Ministry of Railways Secretary Habibur Rehman Gilani, will not require any funding from the rail operator.
Norinco will be paid a percentage of the ticket price, freight, and value-added services.
The Railway Automated Booking and Travel Assistance programme is the name of the system. Passengers will be able to use the app to book and pay for each mode of transportation on a route. They’ll also be able to check train schedules, select seats, reserve car rentals and meals, and book a hotel.

Switzerland legalizes suicide pods that assist people to die peacefully

Switzerland is giving the green light to so-called “suicide capsules” 3-D printed pods that allow people to choose the place where they want to die an assisted death.
The country’s medical review board announced the legalization of the Sarco Suicide Pods this week. They can be operated by the user from the inside.
Philip Nitschke, the developer of the pods and founder of Exit International, a pro-euthanasia group, told SwissInfo.ch that the machines can be “towed anywhere for the death” and one of the most positive features of the capsules is that they can be transported to an “idyllic outdoor setting.”
Currently, assisted suicide in Switzerland means swallowing a capsule filled with a cocktail of controlled substances that puts the person into a deep coma before they die.
But Sarco pods short for sarcophagus allow a person to control their death inside the pod by quickly reducing internal oxygen levels. The person intending to end their life is required to answer a set of pre-recorded questions, then press a button that floods the interior with nitrogen. The oxygen level inside is quickly reduced from 21 per cent to one per cent.
After death, the pod can be used as a coffin.
“We want to remove any kind of psychiatric review from the process and allow the individual to control the method themselves,” Nitschke said. “Our aim is to develop an artificial intelligence screening system to establish the person’s mental capacity. Naturally, there is a lot of skepticism, especially on the part of psychiatrists.”
“The benefit for the person who uses it is that they don’t have to get any permission, they don’t need some special doctor to try and get a needle in, and they don’t need to get difficult drugs,” Nitschke said in a Sarco demonstration last year.

The world might not be ready for you but you still have to be ready for the world. The words hurt so much and yet! Many years back, long before Facebook, there was a Second life. There were Linden dollars before bitcoin. Second life was truly a marvel, way ahead of its time and if you’ve played second life, you’d know what it truly was. Problem? It wasn’t as easy. The world just wasn’t ready for it. It was ready for Facebook. It took a company like Apple more than 25 years to launch their first global product- the iPhone. Apple was always ahead of its time but the world just wasn’t ready for it then. I can’t even imagine the frustration of Steve Jobs watching more inferior products dominating the market year after year and coming to terms that they’ll have to be ready for the world if it’s not going to be ready for them.
I know many of you out there, smart guys, intelligent guys feel lost in this vast ocean of dumbness that exists watching people who’re no better than you climbing ladders of success. I’ve been in your shoes. I’ve been that frustrated guy whose creativity and ideas knew no limits but were often met with questions like “how is this possible” or “no it can’t be” or “it can’t be done”. Until I learned this fact that the world doesn’t need you as much as you need it and even if it’s not ready for you, you’ve to be ready for it. Sometimes, doing what’s necessary is more important than doing what you want. Ad-Populum is a common fallacy and as much as it’s hated by scientists and scholars, it’s what drives businesses. Achieving the fine balance between what people want vs what you want vs what’s right requires a great deal of patience. More people know Tiktok than theory of relativity and that’s the sad truth.
The world will survive without you, but can you survive without it is a question that you must ask yourself everyday. Who’re going to be? A perfectionist or a realist?

Bitcoin Theory....
On Bitcoin.
What follows is a note that I’ve sent to a number of friends these past few months. I thought that you might want to see it. I’m happy to answer any questions below.
At the end, I share how I’ve invested both personally and in my company.

The following isn’t financial advice. It’s simply my opinion. I’ve bet big on this and have already put my money where my mouth is. I’ve nothing to sell. This isn’t my business. It’s just an exciting space with a lot of bad information in it right now.
I intend to keep what I have now for years no matter what happens. Day to day fluctuations really don’t make a difference unless you’re day trading. It’s the greater movements and trust that matters.
In essence:
Bitcoin is a story. (All money is a story.)
It’s value is correlated to how much faith there is proven in the story, and how many people believe in it.
Part of the reason why I’m so bullish on it now vs a few years ago is because a few years ago the story wasn’t as strong. It was more fringe.
Despite the price being lower, it had more risk. Too much risk. I’ve been watching the space since 2016 and the risk profile only began to be right for me at the start of this year.
Now is very different. The majority of the major financial institutions have made massive investments into it. So big that they can’t back out.
Every major bet made by a large hedge fund or major financial institution or corporation and every major test it withstands strengthens the story.
Basically the only thing that could take it out right now is if major governments create their own crypto and force it on their citizens. Game theory in the worldwide financial markets pretty clearly opposes this happening.
Still, this is not an impossible scenario. But with so many powerful people and institutions that have made such big investments that have so much influence over government, it seems less likely that this will happen every day. And even if that does happen, Bitcoin as a store of value will very likely remain. The network effects are simply too big now.
Right now I believe that there’s an unprecedented asymmetric opportunity.
It’s possible that it’ll go to zero but that’s unlikely. It’s possible it’ll stay around where it is now. And it’s possible that it’ll go to 500k, or even a million a Bitcoin in the coming years.
For a relatively small investment that you’ll never miss, you can take a position now that could result in tremendous wealth in the coming years.
Right now the combination of the strength of the story and how difficult and hard to understand it is to buy and hold is the perfect storm.
Once it gets easier to buy and spend, the opportunity will have passed.
Or, as I say, once your Mom and Dad know how to buy it, the biggest opportunity zone has passed.
(And of note: I’m personally all in on BTC. There’s absolutely potential in ETH but I feel like it’s function and therefore time to realize it’s real value will take much longer to be realized. Some of the alt coins will likely win out but it’s a crapshoot. The risk profile of them is not what I’m looking for. That, and they’ll all track to BTC anyway and I’ll be able to buy them with BTC at any time so that space is irrelevant to me.)
Because I think it’s important to know what somebody giving advice does themself, here’s how I’ve invested in crypto:
1. I have systematically put 15% of my company’s cash on reserve into BTC since January. I bought a lot at 30k and have been buying all of the way up. I bought more this morning at 60k. Every week I do a small buy. This is called Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) and it’s likely the safest and most intelligent way to accumulate sats (the smaller denomination of Bitcoin.) Trying to time the market is impossible and is a fool’s game. Investing money you cannot lose is a fool’s game.
2. Personally, I maxed out my TFSA with the QBTC Bitcoin fund earlier this year. Alison’s TFSA has no exposure to crypto. My TFSA has almost doubled in less than two months as a result. Tax free. In Canada there are now ETF’s as well that track BTC and can be placed into any tax sheltered account.
3. Additionally, alison and I have bought a smaller chunk personally that we’re holding separate as a sort of reserve fund. We figure that in a few years we’ll be able to travel anywhere in the world with a USB key and simply trade some BTC for a vacation or months away. After 8 years abroad I welcome the idea of accessing funds abroad with ease and without exorbitant fees.
4. I have not sold any BTC. But I have had a number target on price since day 1 of investing where I plan on removing my principle investment.
In this space, if you are going to get into it, you must remove emotion. Do your research, don’t bet anything you can’t lose, and set a logical plan and follow it objectively.

Reddit a new tokken...
List for the upcoming site-wide expansion of its Ethereum-based “Community Points” token rewards program, as well as a dedicated website.
The social media platform, which runs on upvotes that earn users’ karma scores, first dabbled in crypto token rewards in December 2019, when it launched Ethereum-based token rewards called “Donuts” in the r/Ethtrader subreddit.
Now, the program will be rolled out as an opt-in feature for subreddits across the entire platform. Similar to karma, Redditors will be able to earn Community Points by making contributions to a subreddit, such as creating and uploading valuable content, or volunteering to moderate the community.
While the points remain in their beta phase, Reddit has “strongly advised to exercise caution.” Selling, exchanging or trading the points are against the site’s rules.
Reddit stated, “This kind of behavior is very risky while Points are on a testnet — Points can be lost or they may not be migrated over to the main Ethereum network.”
The Community Points program is currently being run on the Rinkeby testnet version of the Ethereum blockchain, with plans to migrate to the Ethereum mainnet using Ethereum layer-two scaling solution Arbitrum.
Once the reward system moves to the mainnet, the tokens are likely to be able to be swapped, held or traded on crypto trading platforms like any other ERC-20 token.
Both users and mods are able to sign up for the waitlist and request the Community Points feature to be added to their subreddit once the beta program goes live.
Each subreddit that participates in the program will be able to create “Special Memberships,” which users can purchase with their points. These memberships unlock features such as badges, GIFs and animated emojis.

Chancellor Angela Merkel, Europe's largest economy, will always be a great example of values, selfless principles, facts and compassionate leadership.
I wish the ruler of a Muslim state had such an example!

Dear Mrs. Priyantha Kumara
As I write these lines, you would be receiving the remains of your husband. The husband you knew as a loving and living human being, your life partner, with whom you must have shared a lifetime of beautiful memories. Father your children... Children, who would still be wondering and will always wonder as to what really happened. Son of a mother…Mother, who still doesn’t know about his death.
I am witing to you as an ashamed and embarrassed citizen of Islamic republic of Pakistan. As a member of a violent and extreme society. My head is hung in shame, and I can’t stop thinking about Priyantha.
I wish I could say to you “I know how you feel”. But I won’t. Because I don’t. How does anyone feels seeing their loved ones beaten to death? I try to imagine myself as Priyantha and I wonder about his thoughts. I wonder and I cry thinking how he must be praying to see you and kids one last time. How he must be asking himself what did he really do to deserve the wrath of the mob? I will tell you the truth that I have imagined myself and my loved ones in this situation so many times. Do you wonder why? Because I live in this country, and I am scared that someday someone will decide my fate like this. Someday someone will announce that I or my loved ones no longer fit in the mould of their beliefs. I have imagined this. The thought of it alone sends shivers down my spine. So, I can’t tell you “I know how you feel” Because I can’t. Because no one can’t.
I wish to tell you about Malik Adnan. The only human in the sea of beasts who tried to save your husband. I wish I could tell you that Adnan is the real Pakistan and not the angry mob. But I can’t. Because I am done with pretending and lying. The truth is that Adnan is a rare species. People like him either don’t exist in our society or they hide with their thoughts and ideas. Adnan is brave. Adnan is courageous. Adnan had the power to stand in front of a crowd and defend your husband.
I wish I could tell you that our PM, ministers, and religious leaders are as brave as Adnan. But I can’t because that’s not true. If our governments (past and present) were half as brave as Adnan, your husband would still be alive. If they were half as courageous as Adnan, we wouldn’t be thinking about leaving this country for good. But they have to get the popular vote. They have to have the power. They can’t anger the mob. They can’t stand it. They are cowards. They make “peace” deals with terrorist organisations. They are the real face of Pakistan.
I wish I could tell you that this is a lone “incident”. One that would never happen again. One that has never happened before. But I can’t because it’s not true. It happened in 2012 in Chunni Goth, it happened in 2012 in Goth Seeta, it happened in 2014 in Kot Radha Kishan, it happened in 2017 in Mardan. These are only the famous blasphemy lynching cases. In the very city of Sialkot, not too long ago, two young brothers were brutally lunched by the mob on suspicion of robbery.
I wish I could tell you that, as our PM promised, the culprits of your husband’s murder will be brought to justice. But I can’t because it’s not true. The 4 “incidents” I mentioned, not a single one of the culprits were given death sentences. Most of them simply got away. Some served some sentence and are already out or about to get out. So, I will tell you not to get your hopes too high. You will be disappointed.
I wish I could tell you that this heinous murder does not depict the true Pakistan. But I can’t because it’s not true. It is the true picture of Pakistan. Most of us won’t go out and murder people but secretly we would admire them. We would condemn the killing but follow it with a “BUT” and “IF”. We hail murderers as heroes and attend their funerals in big numbers.
I wish I could tell you that love is powerful, and it changes everything. But I can’t because it’s not true. Hate is a much more powerful weapon. It takes over the people, their beliefs, their faiths, their lives. It blinds them. It tells them that human life means nothing. We have slowly nurtured the seeds of hatred in our society. Now they have become big giant trees overpowering everything sane we knew. Hate! I tell you, is much more powerful than love.
Mrs. Priyantha! I am sorry. I have nothing to say that would make you feel better. I confess that I have nothing but shame. I confess that our government will have nothing but hollow words. I confess that we have already died. Our souls have left. We walk around in these barren bodies deprived off love, sanity and humanity. I confess that we, Pakistanis, will forget your husband in a few days just like we forgot APS, Mughees and Muneeb, Shama and Shahzad, Mashal Khan and 80,000 other Pakistanis who lost their lives for nothing.

Buy new recipes, pay and join those groups, spend money to get new baking utensils and equipment.
* You call yourself a Crypto Trader?
Spend money to be trained by mentors and people who know more than you. Spend money on improving your knowledge.
Whatever you are into, spend money to become a better version of yourself. It pays. It adds to your value.

Thugs considered themselves children of Kali (a Hindu goddess), created from her sweat, but many Thugs captured and convicted by the British were Muslims.
Thugs grew to become a criminal tribe. Their common method was to join a group of travelers and develop trust. They would wait until they found proper time and location to strike. Usually two to three thugs would attack a single person. The place of execution was called “bela” and the most favored method of killing was “strangulation” with a “rumal” called “garrote.” The gang leader was called a “Jemedar.” Estimates of total victims of Thugs vary from 2 million to 50,000.
Thugs were wiped out by the British in the 1830’s largely due to the efforts of civil servant William Henry Sleeman. The government of India established the Thuggee and Dacoity Department in 1835, with Sleeman as its first superintendent. The campaign relied on captured Thugs who became informants. These informants were offered protection on the condition that they told everything that they knew. As a result, thousands of men were imprisoned, executed or expelled from British India.
By the 1870s the Thug cult was extinct. The Thuggee and Dacoity Department remained in existence until 1904, when it was replaced by the Central Criminal Intelligence Department (CID).
The Thugs were popularized by books such as Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel, “Confessions of a Thug.
