One of the best day in history.
As a special day in Bangladesh, it is celebrated all over the country. Every year December 16 is specially celebrated in Bangladesh. In a circular issued on 22 January 1972, the day was observed as a national day in Bangladesh and was officially declared a holiday. [1] It formally surrendered to the combined forces. [2] As a result, a new independent and sovereign state called Bangladesh emerged on the face of the earth. This day is also celebrated as Victory Day in India. On this occasion, every year in Bangladesh, the day is celebrated with due solemnity and great enthusiasm. On the morning of 16 December, the day began with 31 rounds of artillery fire. Members of the Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force joined the joint military parade held at the National Parade Square. As part of the parade, the country's president or prime minister saluted. A large number of people gathered to watch this parade. People from all walks of life, including the President, Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition, various social and cultural organizations, lay wreaths at the National Memorial in Savar, Dhaka, as part of a tribute to those killed in the Bangladesh War of Independence. The 9-month war of independence came to an end with the surrender of the Pakistan Army and the formation of an independent state called Bangladesh (later used as a term). Almost all the countries including the United Nations recognize Bangladesh in the month of independence.
