All people have different kinds of mindset in facing conflicts or resolving problems. This is the one reason why even if people faces the same trials, the results are all different. The way we act depends on our mindset. Our mindset strongly influences our inclinations. There are two types of mindset that we will study in this article.

2 TYPES OF MINDSET

1. Fixed Mindset

This is the type of mindset that when they decide onto something, that decision will remain even though the result can negatively affect their life. Their beliefs is like an information carved in a stone. Whatever types of persuasion they may face they will stay firm on their stand.

2. Growth Mindset

This type of mindset changes over the time they fully understand the circumstances they were in. If they found out that their first decision can bring destruction in their life they are willing to change that decision. They are willing to listen to people who are giving them advices that can bring forth goodness to everyone.

We are all humans and all of us are not perfect. There is no perfection in this sinful world. Conflicts rampantly arises be it in ourselves or conflict with other people. Conflict can only bring chaos that can even affect the entire humanity. As fast as we could, we should resolve the conflict no matter what kind of barriers tries to stop us. In resolving conflict, in this article we will study the 5 C's on how to resolve it.

5 C's IN RESOLVING CONFLICT

1. Confess

Psalms 32: 5 says, "I acknowledge my sin unto You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,' and you forgave the iniquity of my sins." Confession is a great start to resolve the conflict. This way the guilt residing in our heart can be washed away or the burden we are carrying will lessen.

2. Come

"Matthew 5:23-25, Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.

3. Confront

Matthew 18: 15, "Morever if your brother sin against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother."

4. Consult

1 Kings 12:8, " But he rejected the advice which the elders had given him, and consulted the young men who had grown up with him, who stood before him."

5. Celebrate

Colossians 3:15, "And let the peace of God rules in your heart, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."
